Ghost Black Red Diamond Car Wrap | Gloss Vinyl
🎉 Free Shipping! Ready to ship
Ghost Black Red Diamond is built for drivers who want a finish that never looks the same twice. At rest it sits in a deep, near-black base. The moment light catches it at an angle, thousands of diamond micro-flakes ignite into a vivid crimson that flashes and fades as you move. The effect is not a color you can mix at a body shop. It lives in the light itself.
This gloss polymeric vinyl wraps directly over your factory paint, protecting it from everyday nicks, swirl marks, and UV fade while you enjoy the custom look. When you are ready to change things up, it removes cleanly without leaving adhesive behind. A show-stopping custom diamond paint job in the same class would cost a multiple of what this wrap runs and would be nearly impossible to reverse.

Key features
- Diamond micro-flake formula shifts from near-black to a vivid red flash depending on viewing angle and lighting conditions

Frequently asked questions
What does this wrap actually look like in real life?
At a straight-on viewing angle in normal daylight the car reads as a very deep, almost pure black with a subtle red shimmer sitting just beneath the surface. As you walk around the car, or as the sun moves, the diamond micro-flakes catch the light and the whole panel floods with a sharp crimson flash. In low-angle evening sun or artificial showroom lighting the effect is most dramatic. In shade it settles back to near-black. No two lighting conditions look the same.
Will the color shift be visible on dark cloudy days?
The flash is driven by direct or angled light hitting the diamond micro-flakes. On a flat overcast day you will mostly see the deep black base, which looks great on its own. When any direct light source hits the car, even headlights in a parking garage or a streetlight at night, the red flake ignites again. The effect is strongest in bright sun.
Does this vinyl protect my paint?
Yes, in the way a quality cosmetic wrap is designed to. The polymeric face film sits over your factory paint and takes the daily abuse: light scratches, door dings, road grime, and UV fade. It is not a thick PPF (protective vinyl film), so it will not shrug off stone chips or deep impacts. Think of it as a protective costume for your paint, not armor. When you remove it, your original paint should be in the same condition as the day you applied the wrap.
How does this compare to getting a custom diamond pearl paint job?
A professional diamond or chameleon-effect custom paint job in this color range is typically several times the cost of this wrap, requires the car to be stripped down for spraying, and is permanent. If you ever want to change colors, you are repainting again. This wrap gives you the same head-turning micro-flake color shift at a fraction of the price, goes on over your factory paint, and comes off cleanly if you sell the car or change your mind.
How do I wash and maintain a gloss diamond wrap?
Hand washing with a pH-neutral car shampoo and a soft microfiber mitt is the best routine. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean microfiber towel to avoid water spots. Avoid automated brush car washes, which can lift edges and scratch the gloss surface. Because this is a gloss finish you can use a spray detailer or a wrap-safe wax to boost shine and protect the surface between washes. Keep strong solvents and engine-bay degreasers away from the film edges.
Can I install this myself?
Yes. Both dry and wet install methods work with this film. The air-release adhesive channels let you slide the film into position before it locks down, and you can push out bubbles with a squeegee. Flat panels like hoods and roofs are beginner-friendly. Bumpers, mirrors, and tight compound curves require more experience and a heat gun to get the film to conform. If this is your first full-car wrap, consider starting with one panel or having a professional shop handle the more complex sections.
Will it remove cleanly when I am done?
Yes, provided the wrap has been applied to properly prepped paint and has not been left on past the point where adhesive degrades. Warm the film with a heat gun, peel back slowly at a low angle, and remove any adhesive residue with a panel wipe or wrap remover fluid. Factory paint in good condition typically comes away with no transfer. Paint that was already chipped, repaired with touch-up, or poorly clear-coated before the wrap went on is more variable.
How much film do I need for a full car?
A standard sedan or coupe typically needs around 16 to 18 meters (roughly 52 to 59 feet) of 1.52-meter-wide film for a full exterior wrap with overlaps and enough material to tuck edges cleanly. Larger SUVs and trucks need more, usually 20 to 25 meters. If you are only wrapping a roof, hood, and trunk lid, 5 to 7 meters is usually sufficient. When in doubt, order a little extra. Running short mid-install from the same batch means the dye lot matches. From a different roll the color shift may look slightly different.
