Clear PPF for Porsche | Self-Healing TPU Film
$260.00 USD
1.52*3m(5*9.8ft) / PORSCHE AVENTURINE GREEN

Your Porsche paint stays exactly the way it left the factory, just with an invisible shield over it. This clear gloss PPF keeps the original color and depth on full view while taking the hits that would normally land on your clear coat. Rock chips on the front bumper, swirl marks from washing, road grit on the rocker panels, the film absorbs them so the paint underneath does not.

The gloss finish matches a fresh detail, so once it is on you would never know it is there. It is a 7.5mil (330um) three-layer TPU film with a self-healing cashew topcoat, which means light scratches vanish with heat from the sun or warm water. This is protection you can see through, built to hold that showroom shine for years.

Key features

  • Self-healing topcoat: minor scratches and swirl marks fade out with heat from the sun or a heat gun.
  • Hydrophobic surface: water and dirt bead off instead of sticking, so the film stays cleaner for longer.
  • Acid rain and oxidation resistant: holds up against acid rain, oxidation and yellowing over years of daily driving.
  • Stain and penetration resistant: bird droppings, tree sap and grease do not soak into the film.
  • Flexible and tear resistant: high elongation and tensile strength let it stretch over curves without cracking.
  • Mirror-gloss finish: the glass-crystal top layer boosts paint depth and gloss by up to 40 percent and smooths out orange peel.
  • Removable adhesive: peels off cleanly with heat, with no glue residue left behind.
  • Bubble-free install: designed to lay flat without bubbling, warping or lifting at the edges.

Frequently asked questions

How long does this clear PPF last on a Porsche?

Plan on 7 to 10 years of real use, and it carries an 8-year warranty. The TPU base and cashew topcoat hold up to sun, road salt, and daily washing, so the film keeps doing its job long after a cheaper film would yellow or peel.

What is the difference between clear PPF and a vinyl wrap?

A vinyl wrap only changes how the car looks and gives almost no impact protection. This is paint protection film. It is a 7.5mil TPU layer built to take rock chips and scratches for you. Since this one is clear gloss, it keeps your Porsche its original color while shielding the paint underneath.

Does the film really self-heal?

Yes. The cashew topcoat closes up light swirls and fine scratches on its own. Park in the sun for a bit or pour warm water over the panel and the marks fade out. Deeper gouges that cut through the film will not heal, but everyday surface scuffs disappear.

Will a clear film fade or turn yellow over time?

No. The TPU and topcoat block 95 to 98 percent of UV, which is the main thing that yellows lower-grade films. This film is designed to stay optically clear for the life of the install, so your paint reads as bright and glossy as day one.

Does it remove cleanly when I want it off?

It does. When you peel it off, it lifts away without tearing up the factory paint or leaving glue behind. That is the whole point of running film over the clear coat, you can refresh or sell the car with the original finish untouched.

How much film do I need for my Porsche?

The roll is 1.52m wide and comes in 3m, 6m, 9m, and 15m lengths. A full front-end kit on a 911 or Cayman usually fits in 6 to 9m. A full-car wrap needs the 15m roll, sometimes two. Measure the panels you want covered and add a little for trim-up.

Can I install this clear PPF myself?

Yes, if you take your time. This is a wet install, so you spray the panel and the film with slip solution, position it, then squeegee out the water. Flat and gently curved panels are very doable at home. Tight curves like mirror caps reward patience. Check the how-to-wrap guide on this page before you start.

Will the gloss match the rest of my paint?

It will. The clear gloss finish reads like a fresh detail, so panels with film look the same as bare panels next to them. Most people cannot tell the film is there at all, which is exactly what you want from invisible protection.
