Midnight Blue Metallic Car Wrap | Vinyl Film

Midnight Blue sits deep and almost black in the shade, then wakes up the moment sunlight hits it. The fine metal flake in the color layer throws off a cool blue sparkle that shifts as you walk around the car, so the panels never look flat. It is the kind of dark blue that reads classy in a parking lot and electric on the open road.
This is a glossy color-change wrap, so the surface stays slick and reflective like fresh paint. While it gives your car a brand new look, the film also lays over your factory finish and takes the daily hits of dust, light scuffs, and weather instead of the paint below. When you want a change later, it comes off and the original color is still there.

Key features
- Deep metallic sparkle: fine metal flake runs through the color layer, so the finish reads rich in the shade and glints with sparkle in direct sun.
- Glossy depth: a clear topcoat over the flake gives a wet, glossy shine with real depth, the same look factory metallic paint gets from flake in the basecoat.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.

Frequently asked questions
What does the metal flake do in Midnight Blue?
The flake is mixed into the color layer, so tiny metal particles catch and bounce light back at you. In Midnight Blue that means the wrap can look like a near-black deep blue in shade and then light up with a bright blue glitter in direct sun. It gives the panels real depth instead of one flat tone.
Is the surface smooth or does the flake feel textured?
It is smooth to the touch. The metal flake lives inside the color layer under a glossy top, so you see the sparkle but you do not feel any grit or grain. Run your hand across a wrapped panel and it feels slick, much like glossy paint.
Will wrapping my car damage the paint?
No. The Midnight Blue film lays on top of your factory paint and actually shields it from sun, light scratches, and road grime during daily driving. As long as your original paint is healthy and well stuck to the car before the wrap goes on, it is protected underneath, not harmed.
How is a metallic wrap different from a metallic respray?
A real metallic-flake respray means stripping, spraying, and baking, which costs a lot and is hard to fix if you ding a panel. This Midnight Blue wrap gets you a similar deep sparkling finish for far less, goes on much faster, keeps your factory paint safe, and peels off when you want a change. A respray is permanent and a wrap is not.
How do I wash and care for it?
Hand wash with a mild car soap and a soft mitt, then rinse and dry with a microfiber towel. Skip harsh solvents and stiff brushes, and keep it out of automatic brush washes. Midnight Blue holds its sparkle for years with this gentle routine, and a garage-kept car will keep that look even longer.
Can I install it myself with the air-release adhesive?
Yes, this is a DIY-friendly film. The Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive has air-release channels, so trapped bubbles push out to the edges as you squeegee instead of staying stuck under the film. You can run a dry or wet install. Flat panels are easy for a first timer, and curves and mirrors just take a little heat and patience.
Does it remove cleanly later?
When you are ready for something new, warm the film with a heat gun and peel it back at a low angle. On healthy factory paint the Midnight Blue wrap lifts off without taking your color with it. Any light adhesive left behind wipes away with a proper adhesive remover.
How much film do I need for my car?
It depends on your vehicle size and whether you are wrapping the whole car or just a few panels. A roll comes in 30ft (9m) or 59ft (18m) lengths. As a rough guide, a small car needs around 50 to 55ft for a full wrap and larger SUVs need more, so the 59ft roll is the common pick for a full vehicle. Order a little extra for mistakes and complex curves.
