Midnight Blue Metallic Car Wrap | Gloss Vinyl
💪 Hurry up! Only 8 left
Midnight Blue is a deep, late-night blue with fine metal flake worked right into the color layer. Park it in the shade and it reads almost ink-dark, calm and serious. Roll into direct sun and the flake wakes up, scattering tiny points of light across every panel so the blue looks like it has real depth instead of one flat tone. The gloss top gives it a wet, polished shine that makes the whole car look like it just left the booth.
This is a full color-change wrap, not a coating you brush on. It lays over your factory paint and changes the look completely while shielding the original finish from sun, light scratches, and the small dings of daily driving. When you want your old color back, the film comes off and the paint underneath is still there. You get a fresh metallic blue today and your resale paint kept safe for later.

Key features
- Deep metallic sparkle: fine metal flake runs through the color layer, so the finish reads rich in the shade and glints with sparkle in direct sun.
- Glossy depth: a clear topcoat over the flake gives a wet, glossy shine with real depth, the same look factory metallic paint gets from flake in the basecoat.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.

Frequently asked questions
What does the metallic flake actually do on Midnight Blue?
The flake is fine metal mixed into the blue color layer. In shade the car looks deep and ink-dark, and in direct sun the flake catches the light and throws tiny sparkles across the panels. That shift between dark and shimmer is what makes Midnight Blue look richer than a plain solid blue.
Is the surface rough or bumpy from the flake?
No. The flake sits inside the color layer, so the gloss top film stays smooth to the touch. You feel a slick, polished surface like fresh paint, not grit or texture. The sparkle is something you see, not something you feel.
Will wrapping in Midnight Blue damage my paint?
Healthy factory paint is not harmed by the wrap. The film actually protects it from sun fade, light scratches, and small daily marks. The one thing to watch is old paint that is already flaking or full of bad touch-up work, since weak paint can lift when any wrap is removed. Good paint stays safe underneath.
Why pick a metallic wrap over a real metallic respray?
A true metallic-flake respray is a big spend and it is hard to repair if one panel gets scratched. This Midnight Blue wrap costs far less, goes on much faster, and keeps your factory paint untouched beneath it. If you change your mind later, the wrap peels off and your original color is still there. A respray is permanent and a wrap is not.
How do I wash and care for a Midnight Blue metallic wrap?
Hand wash with a soft mitt and a pH-neutral car soap, then rinse and dry with a clean microfiber. Skip harsh solvents, brushes, and automatic brush tunnels. Touchless washing is fine. Keeping it clean helps the gloss and the flake keep their pop, and a wrap kept in a garage out of constant sun will look good for longer.
Can I install this myself with the air-release adhesive?
Yes, plenty of DIY installers do. The Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive has air-release channels, so trapped bubbles push out to the edge as you squeegee instead of getting stuck under the film. That gives you more time to line up the blue and reposition before you commit. Flat panels are beginner friendly. Deep curves and bumpers take more heat and patience.
Does Midnight Blue come off cleanly when I want it gone?
When you are ready for a change, warm the film with heat and peel it back slowly at a low angle. On sound factory paint it lifts off and leaves the surface clean. Any light adhesive residue wipes away with a proper adhesive remover. That clean removal is the whole point of going with a wrap.
How much film do I need for my car?
A small coupe or hatch usually needs around the 59ft length to be safe with extra for mistakes. A sedan or larger SUV often needs more than a single 59ft roll once you count mirrors, door jambs, and trim. The 30ft length suits roofs, hoods, and accent pieces. Buying a little extra is smarter than running short mid-job, since dye lots can vary slightly between orders.
