Liquid Metal Car Wrap | Metallic Vinyl
💪 Hurry up! Only 8 left
Liquid Metal is the brightest metallic in the lineup. Fine metal flake sits inside the color layer and catches light like polished metal, so the panel reads almost mirror-like under sun and settles into a deep liquid glow in shade. Roll the car into a garage and the surface looks like cool poured metal. Pull it into daylight and the whole body lights up with a sharp, reflective shine that moves as you walk around it.
It is a color-change wrap, not a coat of paint, so it transforms the look of your car while the film takes the daily hits underneath. Road grime, light scuffs, and wash swirls land on the vinyl instead of your factory paint. When you want a different look later, the wrap comes off and the original paint is still there.

Key features
- Liquid-metal shine: a high-shine metallic surface that reads almost reflective, throwing a bright mirror-like glow in the sun and catching light at night.
- Deep flake color: fine metal flake under the topcoat gives the color real depth, so it never looks flat.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out for a clean, flat lay you can reposition.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.

Frequently asked questions
What does the metal flake in Liquid Metal actually do?
The flake sits inside the color layer and acts like tiny mirrors. It is what gives Liquid Metal its bright, reflective shine instead of a flat solid tone. As light hits the panel the flake throws back a sharp metallic glow, which is why the finish looks so close to real polished metal.
How different does it look in sun versus shade?
Quite different, and that is the appeal. In direct sun Liquid Metal lights up almost like a mirror, with a bright reflective sparkle across the panel. In shade or indoors it calms into a deeper liquid metal glow. The color stays the same, but the brightness shifts as the light changes around it.
Does the wrap have texture, or is it smooth?
It is smooth. The metal flake is sealed inside the film, so you feel a flat glossy surface, not grit. The mirror-like effect is visual only. Running your hand across a panel feels the same as any smooth gloss wrap.
Will a wrap damage my paint, or does it protect it?
On factory paint in good condition it protects more than it harms. The vinyl takes the daily wear like light scuffs, road grime, and wash swirls, so those land on the film instead of your clear coat. It is a color-change wrap, not protective vinyl film, so do not expect everyday scratches and road film, but for everyday driving it shields the paint underneath.
How is this different from a metallic respray?
A real metallic-flake respray is expensive, takes the car off the road for a long time, and is hard to color match if a panel ever needs repair. Liquid Metal vinyl costs far less, goes on faster, and peels off when you want a change. You get the bright metallic look without permanently altering the car or the value of the original paint.
How do I wash and care for it?
Hand wash with a mild car shampoo and a soft mitt, then rinse and dry with a clean microfiber. Skip harsh solvents and stiff brushes that can dull the flake shine. Keeping the car garaged out of constant sun helps it stay bright, and a wrap that lives indoors will hold its look longer.
Can I install Liquid Metal myself?
Yes. The Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive is air-release, so the channels in the glue let trapped air push out as you squeegee, which makes bubbles much easier to work out. You can install dry or wet. Take your time on curves and edges, use gentle heat to shape it, and a first-timer can get a clean result on flatter panels.
How much film do I need and which roll length should I pick?
It comes in 30ft (9m) and 59ft (18m) roll lengths. A full small-to-mid car usually needs the longer roll, while the 30ft works well for partial jobs like a roof, hood, or mirrors. When in doubt, size up so you have margin for mistakes and for wrapping into edges.
