Dark Nardo Gray Super Gloss Car Wrap | Polymeric Vinyl
$180.00 USD
Light Nardo Grey / 1.52*6m(5*20ft)

Dark Nardo Gray is the moody, motorsport gray that reads as charcoal in shade and cool slate in direct sun. The gloss finish gives it a wet, painted-on depth that makes body lines and curves pop without shouting for attention. It is the shade that makes a car look quietly expensive, the kind of color you see on track-bred coupes and sleeper builds.

This is a color wrap, not just a sticker. The gloss vinyl lays a fresh look over your panels while the film and its adhesive sit between the world and your factory paint, taking the daily hits from sun, grime, and car wash swirl so the original surface stays protected underneath. When you want a change, it comes back off and your paint is still there.

Key features

  • Painted-on gloss finish: a mirror-gloss topcoat gives the deep wet-paint shine without the cost of a respray.
  • Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
  • Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
  • Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
  • Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
  • UV and weather resistant: the gloss topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.
  • Easy to keep clean: wipes down and washes like paint, with no special care needed.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a Dark Nardo Gray gloss wrap last?

With normal care it holds up for years. Dark grays like this one are forgiving since light dust and water spots barely show against the deep tone. Keep the car garaged when you can and the gloss and color stay strong for longer. Sun, road salt, and harsh chemicals are what wear any wrap down over time, so regular gentle washing makes a real difference.

Will this wrap damage my paint or actually protect it?

It protects it. The Dark Nardo Gray film sits on top of your factory paint and takes the daily abuse instead, the sun, the bird drops, the light brush marks from washing. As long as your paint is healthy and well stuck to the car before you wrap, the film peels off later without harming the surface underneath. Many people wrap a nice factory color just to keep it mint.

Gloss wrap or a respray for this color?

A respray in Dark Nardo Gray costs far more, takes longer, and changes your car forever. This gloss wrap gives you the same deep painted-on look for less money, goes on faster, and comes off clean when you want your original color back. It also shields the factory paint while it is on, so resale stays cleaner. A respray cannot be undone.

How much film do I need for my car?

Our Dark Nardo Gray comes on rolls 1.52m wide (about 5ft) in 6m, 18m, and 23m lengths. A small two-door usually needs around 15m, a regular sedan about 18m, and a large SUV or truck closer to 23m. Order a bit extra so you have room for mistakes and door jambs. If you are wrapping only a hood, roof, or mirrors, the 6m roll is plenty.

Can I install this myself?

Yes, many people do. The Henkel solvent-based acrylic air-release adhesive has tiny channels that let trapped air escape, so you get fewer bubbles and can lift and reposition the film while you work. You can install Dark Nardo Gray dry or wet. Take your time on curves and use heat to set it. Large single panels like a hood are a friendly place to start before you try a full wrap.

Does the wrap come off cleanly?

It does. When you are ready for a change, warm the Dark Nardo Gray film and pull it back slowly at a low angle. On healthy factory paint it lifts away without tearing your finish. Any light adhesive left behind wipes off with a proper adhesive remover. That clean removal is the whole point of wrapping instead of painting.

How do I wash and care for a gloss wrap?

Treat it like good paint. Hand wash Dark Nardo Gray with a soft mitt and a pH neutral car shampoo, then rinse and dry with a clean microfiber towel. Skip harsh solvents and automatic brush car washes that drag grit across the gloss. Wipe off bird droppings and fuel splashes quickly so they do not sit. Done right, the gloss keeps its sharp shine.

Will the gloss fade over time?

Gloss vinyl is built to hold its shine, and a darker gray hides minor wear better than bright shades do. Long term, the biggest enemy is constant harsh sun, which dulls any finish eventually. Park in shade or a garage when you can and wash gently, and your Dark Nardo Gray keeps that deep wet look far longer.
