Metallic Green Matte Car Wrap | Polymeric Vinyl
$200.00 USD
1.52*6m(5*20ft) / Diamond Aurora Green

Metallic Green lands somewhere between deep forest and gunmetal, a flat color with a fine metal flake worked into it so the surface shifts as the light moves across it. There is no shine and no glare. In daylight you catch the shimmer in the panels, and in shade it settles into a dark, moody green that reads almost stealth. It is a finish that looks expensive without ever trying to.

This is a polymeric PVC color wrap, not a clear protection film. It changes how your car looks and lays a layer over the factory paint that shields it from daily grit, sun and light scuffing so the original finish stays clean and sealed underneath. When you want a change, it comes back off and the paint is still there.

Key features

  • Flat matte finish: a non-reflective topcoat gives the factory-flat, no-shine look that paint cannot match without a costly custom job.
  • Hides minor flaws: the matte surface softens light, so it disguises small swirls and imperfections instead of spotlighting them like gloss does.
  • Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
  • Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
  • Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
  • Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
  • UV and weather resistant: the topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a Metallic Green matte wrap last?

With good care it holds its flat green look for years. The metal flake and the matte surface both stay even as long as you keep up with gentle washing. Cars parked in a garage or under cover last longer than ones left baking in full sun and weather every day, since heat and UV are what age any wrap fastest.

Will this wrap damage my paint, or actually protect it?

On factory paint in good shape it shields rather than harms. The Metallic Green film covers your clearcoat and keeps daily grit, sun and light scuffs off the surface, so the paint underneath stays sealed and clean. The thing to avoid is putting it over chipped, peeling or aftermarket paint that is already loose, because removing the wrap later can lift weak paint with it.

Why pick a matte wrap over a matte respray?

A matte green respray is one of the priciest and trickiest paint jobs out there. Matte clears are easy to mark, hard to spot repair, and a panel respray often will not match. This Metallic Green wrap costs far less, goes on in days not weeks, keeps your real paint factory fresh underneath, and peels off when you want a different look or want to sell the car.

How do I wash and care for a matte wrap?

This is the one big rule for matte. Never wax, polish, or machine buff a matte wrap, because any of those will rub shiny patches into the flat Metallic Green finish and you cannot undo it. Hand wash only with a matte safe soap, skip the automatic brush tunnels, and wipe off fuel splashes, bird mess and bug guts quickly before they sit and stain. Plain hand washing keeps the flat look even.

Can I install this myself?

Yes, plenty of DIY installers do. The film uses a Henkel solvent based acrylic adhesive with air-release channels, so trapped bubbles push out to the edge instead of leaving a lump, which makes the work far more forgiving. You can lay it dry or wet. Smaller flat panels like a roof, hood or mirrors are a good first project, while full wraps and tight curves take patience, heat and a second pair of hands.

Does it come off cleanly later?

On healthy factory paint, yes. Warm the Metallic Green film with a heat source and peel it back slowly at a low angle. Any adhesive left behind wipes off with a proper adhesive remover. Because it is reversible, you can run the matte green for a while and return the car to its original color whenever you choose.

Will it stay flat or turn shiny over time?

It stays flat if you treat it as matte. The dull, non-reflective surface is built into the film, so it will not gloss up on its own. Shiny spots only show up when someone waxes it, polishes it, or scrubs hard at one area. Stick to gentle hand washing and the Metallic Green keeps its even flat shimmer across every panel.

How much film do I need for my car?

The rolls are 1.52m (5ft) wide and come in 6m, 18m and 23m lengths. As a rough guide, a small car usually takes around 15 to 18m, a sedan about 18m, and a large SUV or truck closer to 23m. Add a little extra for mistakes, complex curves and door jambs. If you are only doing a roof, hood or accents, a 6m roll often covers it.
