Black Cherry Wine PPF delivers a clean, high-gloss color with real depth that catches the light cleanly. It gives factory paint the kind of finish that turns heads in a parking lot, without the plasticky look of cheap film.

The color here does two jobs at once. This is color paint protection film, not vinyl, so the same layer that gives you the color also takes the hits. Rock chips, road grime, light scratches, bug splatter and wash swirls land on the film instead of your factory paint. You get the color you want, and the original paint stays sealed and safe underneath.

With normal care you can expect 7 to 10 years of service, and it carries an 8-year warranty. The 7.5 mil TPU film and cashew topcoat are built to hold this deep wine red through years of sun, rain, and washing.
What is the difference between this and a vinyl wrap?

Vinyl only changes how your car looks. Black Cherry Wine is paint protection film, so it changes the color AND shields the paint underneath. The film absorbs rock chips, scratches, and grime that would otherwise hit your factory clear coat. Vinyl cannot do that.
Does the self-healing topcoat really work on a dark color like this?

Yes. Light swirls and fine scratches in the topcoat fade out with heat from the sun or warm water. That matters a lot on a dark red like Black Cherry Wine, since fine marks show more on deep colors. The healing keeps the finish looking smooth and glossy.
Will the wine red color fade in the sun?

Can I install Black Cherry Wine PPF myself?

A patient DIY installer can do flat and gentle panels like a hood, roof, or trunk. This is a wet install, so you work with slip solution to slide the film into place before you squeegee it down. Full wraps with tight curves and bumpers are harder, so many people start with a few panels or hand the full car to a pro.
