This is real paint protection film, not a cosmetic vinyl. The 7.5mil (330um) three-layer TPU film soaks up impacts and road debris, then the self-healing topcoat erases light scratches with a little heat from the sun or warm water. You get the showroom shine you already love with a shield that works while you are not even thinking about it.

What is the difference between clear PPF and a vinyl wrap?

A vinyl wrap only changes how the car looks and gives almost no impact protection. This clear PPF is a 7.5mil TPU film built to take rock chips and scratches while staying invisible. It guards your paint instead of just decorating it.
Does the clear film really self-heal scratches?

Yes. The cashew topcoat is self-healing, so light swirl marks and fine scratches close up on their own once the surface warms up. Leave the car in the sun or pour warm water over the spot and the clear finish smooths back out.
Will clear PPF yellow or cloud over time?

It is made to stay clear. The TPU film and topcoat block 95 to 98 percent of UV, which is what causes most yellowing, so the finish stays bright and glossy across the 8-year warranty period rather than fogging up.
Does clear PPF come off cleanly later?

Yes. When you want it off, the film lifts away without tearing up your factory paint underneath. Because it shielded the paint the whole time, the surface beneath is usually in great shape.
How much film do I need for my car?

The roll is 1.52m wide and comes in 3m, 6m, 9m, and 15m lengths. A few panels like the hood and mirrors take one of the shorter rolls, while a full-car job usually needs 15m or more. Measure the panels you want covered before you pick a length.
Can I install clear PPF myself at home?

Many DIY installers can. This is a wet install, so you spray slip solution to slide the film into place before squeegeeing the water out. Clear film is forgiving since there is no color to line up. Take your time on curves and edges.
