Hand wash with a soft mitt and a pH neutral car shampoo, then rinse and dry with a clean microfiber. Keep it clear of harsh solvents and aggressive degreasers. Wipe off bird droppings, fuel, and bug splatter quickly so they do not sit on the film. On healthy factory paint, yes. Warm the film with a little heat and pull it back at a low, steady angle so it lifts in sheets rather than tearing. Any light adhesive left behind comes off with adhesive remover and a microfiber. That clean removal is the big advantage over paint, since you can return the car to its original color whenever you want.

The roll is 1.52m (5ft) wide, which covers most panels in single passes. As a rough starting point a small hatch or coupe usually needs around 15m, a midsize sedan around 18m, and a larger SUV or truck more again. Add extra for deep curves, mirrors, and learning room if this is your first wrap. Measure your own panels before ordering, and round up rather than coming up short.
