The color here does two jobs at once. This is color paint protection film, not vinyl, so the same layer that gives you the color also takes the hits. Rock chips, road grime, light scratches, bug splatter and wash swirls land on the film instead of your factory paint. You get the color you want, and the original paint stays sealed and safe underneath.

What is the difference between this color PPF and a vinyl wrap?

Vinyl only changes the look. This Gold White Pearlescent film changes the look and protects the paint at the same time. The 7.5mil (330um) TPU takes the rock chips and scratches that would otherwise hit your clear coat, so you get the pearl finish plus real paint protection in one layer.
Does this film really self-heal?

Yes. The cashew-based topcoat is self-healing, so light swirl marks and fine scratches close up on their own with warmth from the sun or warm water. That keeps the gold-white pearl looking smooth instead of dull and scratched over time.
Will the gold pearl color fade in the sun?

It is built to resist fading. The film blocks 95 to 98 percent of UV, which is what burns out color over time, so the warm gold shimmer and white base stay true for years instead of going chalky or off-white.
Can I remove it later without wrecking my paint?

Yes. When you are ready for a change, the film comes off cleanly and leaves your original paint the way it was underneath. That is one of the main reasons people pick color PPF over a permanent respray.
How much film do I need for my car?

The film comes on a 1.52m wide roll in 3m, 6m, 9m, and 15m lengths. A few panels or a partial wrap can fit a shorter length, while a full car wrap usually needs the 15m roll. Measure your panels first and add a little extra for trimming so you are not cutting it close.
Can I install it myself?

Yes, with patience. This is a wet install film, so you spray the panel and the adhesive side with slip solution, slide it into place, then squeegee the water out.
