Rainbow Emerald is a deep green that does not sit still. Move around the car or roll under a streetlight and the surface shifts through cool emerald, teal, and bright jade flashes. It reads rich and glassy in the shade, then lights up the moment the sun hits it. This is the color that makes people walk back for a second look.

Underneath the color is real protection. This is paint protection film, not vinyl. A 7.5mil (330um) three-layer TPU build sits over your factory paint and takes the rock chips, road grit, and wash swirls so your clear coat never sees them. You get the head-turning color shift and a shield doing the hard work at the same time.

How long does Rainbow Emerald PPF last on a car?

What is the difference between colored PPF and a vinyl wrap?

Vinyl only changes how the car looks. Rainbow Emerald PPF changes the look and protects the paint at the same time. The 7.5mil TPU film is thick enough to absorb rock chips and road debris that would dent or scratch vinyl and the clear coat under it. You get the color and a real shield in one layer.
Does Rainbow Emerald PPF self-heal?

Yes. The cashew oil topcoat is self-healing, so light swirls and fine wash scratches close up on their own with heat from the sun or warm water. The deep emerald finish keeps that smooth glass look without you chasing every mark.
Will the green color fade over time?

The film blocks 95 to 98 percent of UV, which is what causes most color fade. That UV barrier keeps Rainbow Emerald looking deep and saturated for the long haul, and your factory paint underneath stays protected from the sun too.
Does Rainbow Emerald PPF remove cleanly?

Yes. When you want a change, it lifts off without tearing up your paint. Because the film took the abuse instead of the clear coat, the surface underneath comes back clean and protected, ready for the next color or the original finish.
How much film do I need for my car?

The film is 1.52m wide and comes in 3m, 6m, 9m, and 15m lengths. A few panels like the hood and mirrors take one of the shorter rolls. A full car needs the 15m length, sometimes two. Measure the panels you want to cover and round up so you have room to work.
Can I install Rainbow Emerald PPF myself?

Yes, with patience. This is a wet install, so you spray the panel and film with slip solution, position it, then squeegee out the water and air. The wet method gives you time to slide it into place before it sets. Start on a flat panel like a hood, take your time on curves, and use the how-to-wrap guide on this page.
Is Rainbow Emerald a true color shift or one solid green?

It is a real shift. The base is a deep emerald green that flashes brighter jade and teal tones as the light and your viewing angle change. In flat shade it looks rich and dark. In direct sun it comes alive, which is what sets this finish apart from a plain solid green.
