Satin Khaki Green PPF | Self-Healing TPU Color Film
$260.00 USD
1.52*3m(5*9.8ft) / Khaki Green / Wet apply

Satin Khaki Green gives your car that quiet, off-road, military look without the shine of a glossy finish. The satin surface softens light into a smooth low-sheen glow, so the deep earthy green reads clean in daylight and moody under street lamps. It pairs well with black trim, bronze wheels, and matte badges, and it hides light surface texture better than a high-gloss finish.

This is paint protection film, not vinyl. The same 7.5mil three-layer TPU that carries the color also shields your factory paint from rock chips, road rash, bug acid, and UV fade. You get the color you want and a real barrier over the panel underneath, in one layer.

Key features

  • Self-healing topcoat: minor scratches and swirl marks fade out with heat from the sun or a heat gun.
  • Hydrophobic surface: water and dirt bead off instead of sticking, so the film stays cleaner for longer.
  • Acid rain and oxidation resistant: holds up against acid rain, oxidation and yellowing over years of daily driving.
  • Stain and penetration resistant: bird droppings, tree sap and grease do not soak into the film.
  • Flexible and tear resistant: high elongation and tensile strength let it stretch over curves without cracking.
  • Mirror-gloss finish: the glass-crystal top layer boosts paint depth and gloss by up to 40 percent and smooths out orange peel.
  • Removable adhesive: peels off cleanly with heat, with no glue residue left behind.
  • Bubble-free install: designed to lay flat without bubbling, warping or lifting at the edges.

Frequently asked questions

How long does Satin Khaki Green PPF last on my car?

It is backed by an 8-year warranty. The TPU base resists yellowing and cracking far longer than cheaper films, so the satin green stays looking right for years, not months, with normal use and care.

What is the difference between this and a Satin Khaki Green vinyl wrap?

Vinyl only decorates. It puts color on the surface and that is all it does. This is paint protection film, so the same 7.5mil TPU that gives you the satin green also absorbs rock chips, scratches, and road debris before they reach your paint. You get the color plus a real protective layer in one product.

Does the satin finish self-heal like gloss PPF?

Yes. The cashew-based topcoat is self-healing, so light swirls and fine scratches close up with heat from the sun or warm water. The satin texture stays even after it heals, so you keep the same soft low-sheen look across the whole panel.

Will the green color fade in the sun?

The film blocks 95 to 98 percent of UV, which is the main cause of color fade. That keeps the khaki green tone stable through years of sun exposure instead of going chalky or washed out. The pigment sits inside the TPU layers, not just painted on top, so it holds up.

Can I remove it later without damaging my paint?

Yes. When you want a change, the film peels off cleanly and leaves your factory paint the way it was underneath. The Ashland adhesive is made to hold strong while you drive and release clean when you remove it, with no baked-on residue when done properly.

How much film do I need for my car?

The roll is 1.52m wide and comes in 3m, 6m, 9m, and 15m lengths. A small coupe or single panels do well with shorter lengths, while a full sedan or SUV wrap usually needs the 15m roll. If you are between sizes, size up so you have room for trimming and corners.

Can I install Satin Khaki Green PPF myself?

Yes, this is a wet-install film, so you can spray the panel and the adhesive with slip solution, slide the film into place, and squeegee out the water. DIYers handle flat and lightly curved panels at home with patience. For full body coverage or tight curves, a pro installer gets the cleanest result.

Does the satin look show fingerprints or water spots?

Satin finishes hide light surface marks better than gloss, so day-to-day handling and dust are less obvious. Water spots can show on any finish if hard water dries on the panel, so rinse and dry after washing to keep the khaki green even and clean.
