As you move around the car or the sun moves across it, the panels flip toward a warm magic gold. The effect is built into the vinyl, so it never wears off the way a painted tint would.

The main flip runs between a dark, near-black forest green and a glowing magic gold. In between those two you also catch warmer green-gold transition tones on the curved panels. Bright direct sun pushes more gold, while overcast days and shade hold more of the deep green.

As long as the paint is in good shape and fully cured when the wrap goes on, it stays protected the whole time the wrap is on the car.

Hand washing is the safest way to keep the color-shift looking sharp. Use a soft mitt, a pH-neutral soap and two buckets, then dry with a clean microfiber towel. Skip harsh solvents and automatic brush washes. Park in shade or a garage when you can, since a garage-kept wrap holds its flip and finish longer. With this kind of care the wrap lasts for years.

Yes. When the time comes, warm the film with a heat gun and pull it back slowly at a low angle. The adhesive is made to release from the surface rather than stay stuck to it. On healthy factory paint it lifts off cleanly with little to no residue, and any light leftover comes off with adhesive remover.

The roll is 1.52m (5ft) wide, which covers most panels without seams. As a rough guide, a compact car needs around 15m, a sedan around 18m, and a large SUV or truck 22m or more. Add extra for mirrors, door handles, learning curves and mistakes. If you are only doing the roof, hood or a few accents, a shorter length will do.
