Diamond Aurora Green is a deep green with a diamond sparkle and a light aurora shift, so the color shimmers and changes as you move around the car or as the sun moves across it. Parked it reads as a rich jewel green. Rolling under streetlights it catches a cooler aurora flash that flat paint and ordinary wraps simply cannot do.

The look is only half the job. This is color paint protection film, not vinyl. The same 7.5mil TPU that carries the Aurora Green tint sits over your factory paint and takes the hits for it, so rock chips, road grit, light scratches and bug acid land on the film instead of your clear coat. You change the color of your car and shield the paint underneath in one layer.

How long does Diamond Aurora Green PPF last?

On a daily driver you can expect 7 to 10 years of service, and it is backed by an 8-year warranty. The cashew topcoat and the TPU base are built to hold the aurora green color and the diamond sparkle through years of sun, rain and washing.
What is the difference between this color PPF and a green vinyl wrap?

A green vinyl wrap only decorates. It sits on top of your paint and does nothing to protect it. Diamond Aurora Green is paint protection film, so the 7.5mil TPU gives you the color shift and shields the clear coat from rock chips and scratches at the same time. One film, two jobs.
Does Diamond Aurora Green PPF self-heal?

Yes. The topcoat is self-healing, so light swirl marks and fine scratches close up on their own with heat. Park the car in the sun or pour warm water over the panel and the surface evens back out, keeping the diamond finish clean.
Will the green color fade in the sun?

It is built to resist fading. The film blocks 95 to 98 percent of UV, which is the main thing that washes color out of a finish over time. That UV block is also why the deep green tone and the aurora shift stay true rather than going dull and chalky.
Does this film remove cleanly later?

Yes. When you want to go back to your original paint or switch colors, the film peels off and the Ashland adhesive is designed to release without tearing up your factory clear coat. Your paint comes out protected, not damaged.
How much Diamond Aurora Green film do I need for my car?

It depends on the panels you are covering. The roll is 1.52m wide and comes in 3m, 6m, 9m and 15m lengths. A few panels or accents can work off a shorter roll, while a full car usually needs the 15m length or more. Measure your panels first, then add a little extra for trimming.
Can I install Diamond Aurora Green PPF myself?

DIY installers do it, but go in prepared. This is a wet install, so you lay down slip solution to position the film before you squeegee it out. The self-healing topcoat is forgiving on small handling marks. Large single panels like a hood or roof are easier with a second set of hands.
Will the aurora color look the same in every light?

No, and that is the point. Diamond Aurora Green is a color-shift finish. It reads as a deep jewel green in flat daylight and flashes a cooler aurora tone under direct sun and night lighting. The diamond flake adds sparkle that moves with your angle to the car.
