Gold PPF delivers a clean, high-gloss color with real depth that catches the light cleanly. It gives factory paint the kind of finish that turns heads in a parking lot, without the plasticky look of cheap film.

The color here does two jobs at once. This is color paint protection film, not vinyl, so the same layer that gives you the color also takes the hits. Rock chips, road grime, light scratches, bug splatter and wash swirls land on the film instead of your factory paint. You get the color you want, and the original paint stays sealed and safe underneath.

How long does Gold color PPF last on my car?

This gold film is backed by an 8-year warranty, so the color and the protection are built to stay with the car for the long haul, not just a season. With normal use and basic washing, the metallic gold finish holds its shine the whole time.
What is the difference between Gold color PPF and a gold vinyl wrap?

A vinyl wrap only changes the look. This gold film changes the look and guards your paint at the same time. It is a 7.5 mil (330um) TPU film that takes rock chips, light scratches, and road grime so your factory paint underneath stays clean. Vinyl gives you color. This gives you color plus a shield.
Does the Gold film really self-heal scratches?

Yes. The cashew topcoat is self-healing, so light swirls and fine scratches on the gold surface fade away with a little heat. Park it in the sun or pour warm water over the spot and the surface pulls itself smooth again.
Will the gold color fade over time?

The film blocks 95 to 98 percent of UV, which is the main thing that fades color out in the sun. That UV block is what keeps the gold looking rich and warm year after year instead of going dull or washing out.
Does Gold PPF come off cleanly when I want to remove it?

It does. When you are ready to switch colors or go back to factory, the film peels off clean and leaves the paint it was protecting in the same condition. Because it took the chips and scratches instead of your paint, what is underneath stays fresh.
How much gold film do I need for my car?

The roll is 1.52m wide and comes in 3m, 6m, 9m, and 15m lengths. A full small car usually needs around 15m, while panels like a hood, roof, or mirror caps take much less. Pick the length that matches whether you are doing the whole car or just a few accents in gold.
Can I install the Gold PPF myself at home?

Yes, this is a wet install film, which gives you time to slide it into place and work out bubbles before it sets. Patient DIY installers wrap flatter panels like hoods and roofs at home. Deep curves and full builds are easier with a second set of hands or a pro, but the wet method is forgiving while you learn.
