Diamond Chameleon Green Gold Color-Shift Car Wrap | Chameleon Vinyl
$190.00 USD
1.52*6m(5*20ft) / Gloss Green Gold

Diamond Chameleon Green Gold puts on a show every time the light moves. Park it under midday sun and the panels read deep emerald green. Walk around the car or roll through a low evening glow and the same panels warm into rich liquid gold, with green and amber chasing each other along every curve and crease. The diamond particle base adds a fine sparkle that makes the flip feel alive instead of flat, so the car looks like a different shade from every angle.

This is a real color wrap, not a sticker over your paint. It lays down over your factory finish and seals it off from sun, road grime, light scuffs and the daily wear that dulls a clean coat. When you want your original color back, it peels away and leaves the paint underneath the way it started. You get a head-turning green to gold flip now and a protected, untouched factory finish whenever you decide to change things up.

Key features

  • Color shifts as you move: layered pigment flips the shade with the viewing angle and the light, so the car looks alive in motion and never the same in two photos.
  • Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
  • Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
  • Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
  • Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
  • UV and weather resistant: the topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.

Frequently asked questions

How does the green to gold color shift actually work?

The film carries layered pigments that bounce light differently depending on the angle you view it from and how strong the light is. Look straight on in bright sun and you see deep green. Move to the side, catch a softer light, or watch it under street lamps and it warms into gold. Nothing electronic is going on, the flip comes from the way the diamond pigment splits and reflects light, so the color is always moving as you and the car move.

What colors will this wrap show on my car?

The two main tones are a deep green and a warm gold, with the diamond base adding a fine sparkle in between. On flat panels in direct sun it leans green. On curves, edges and in lower light it pushes toward gold, and you will catch amber and green flickering together along body lines. Body shape and your local light decide how much of each tone shows at any moment.

Will this wrap damage my paint or actually protect it?

It protects it. The vinyl sits over your factory paint and takes the hits from sun, dust, bird mess and small scuffs instead of the clear coat. As long as your paint is healthy and clean when it goes on, the wrap shields it the whole time it is on the car. When you remove it later the paint underneath comes out the same as the day you wrapped it.

How is a color-shift wrap different from a custom paint job?

A true green to gold flip in paint means a specialty multi-stage spray job that costs a small fortune, takes your car off the road for a long time, and is painful and expensive to fix if it ever gets scratched. This wrap gives you the same flip effect for a fraction of the price, goes on far faster, protects the paint already on your car, and peels off clean when you want a change. Paint is permanent. A wrap is not.

How do I wash and care for this wrap?

Hand wash with a soft mitt, mild car shampoo and clean water, then rinse and dry with a microfiber towel. Skip harsh solvents and avoid blasting edges and seams up close with a pressure washer. Clean off bird droppings, bugs and sap as soon as you spot them so they do not sit on the surface. Keeping the car garaged or shaded when you can will keep the green and gold flip looking sharp for longer.

Can I install this myself with the air-release adhesive?

Yes, the air-release adhesive is built for DIY. Tiny channels in the glue let trapped air escape as you squeegee, so you avoid the bubbles that ruin a first attempt. You can lay it dry or wet, reposition it while you work, and use gentle heat to pull it around curves and lock it down. Take your time on mirrors and bumpers and a patient first-timer can get a clean result at home.

Does this wrap remove cleanly when I want it off?

It does. With a little warmth to soften the adhesive, the film peels away in sheets and leaves your factory paint behind, not a sticky mess. Removing it is far easier and cheaper than stripping or repainting a real color-shift finish, which is a big reason wraps are the flexible choice when you like to switch looks.

How much film do I need for my car?

It depends on the size and shape of your vehicle. As a rough guide a compact car needs around 15 to 18 meters, a sedan around 18 to 20 meters, and a larger SUV or truck more. The film comes 1.52m (5ft) wide. Measure your panels and add extra for mistakes, curves and learning as you go, especially on your first wrap.
