Fluorescence Yellow Color-Shift Car Wrap | Chameleon Vinyl
🎉 Free Shipping! Ready to ship
Fluorescence Yellow is loud on purpose. In bright light it reads like a glowing highlighter yellow, then the moment you walk around the car or the sun drops lower it tips into acid green and warm gold. The flip lives in the film itself, so the whole panel shifts as the viewing angle and light change. No two photos of this car will look the same, and that is the point.
This is a chameleon color-shift wrap, so it does two jobs at once. It hands your car a wild electric color that you simply cannot buy in a paint can, and the vinyl sits over your factory paint like a second skin that takes the daily hits of road grime, sun and washing instead of the paint underneath. When you are ready for something new it comes back off, and the original finish is still there.

Key features
- Color shifts as you move: layered pigment flips the shade with the viewing angle and the light, so the car looks alive in motion and never the same in two photos.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
- UV and weather resistant: the topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.

Frequently asked questions
How does the color-shift effect actually work?
The chameleon pigment is built right into the PVC film, so the color you see depends on the angle you look from and the light hitting it. Walk around the car, move it into shade, or let the sun swing across it and Fluorescence Yellow travels between glowing yellow, acid green and warm gold. Nothing is sprayed or coated on after, the flip is part of the vinyl.
What colors will this one show?
Expect a bright highlighter yellow as the base tone, sliding into a punchy acid green and a touch of gold at sharper angles and in lower light. Direct midday sun pushes it toward its most electric yellow. Curves and body lines catch the green flip first, which is why this color looks so alive on a moving car.
Will wrapping hurt my paint or actually protect it?
It protects it. The wrap covers your factory paint and takes the daily wear from sun, grime and washing so the paint underneath stays sealed and clean. On healthy factory paint in good shape it lifts off cleanly when you want a change. This is a cosmetic color wrap, not a everyday scratches and road film.
How is this different from a custom color-shift paint job?
A real flip paint job is one of the most expensive things you can do to a car and it is brutal to repair if a panel gets scratched or you change your mind. This wrap gives you the same head-turning color flip for a fraction of the cost, goes on far faster, and peels back off when you are done. Your original paint stays untouched underneath the whole time.
Can I install this myself?
Yes. The film uses a Henkel solvent-based acrylic air-release adhesive, so air bubbles push out to the channels in the liner as you work instead of getting trapped. You can run a dry or wet install depending on what you are comfortable with. Take your time around mirrors, handles and deep curves, and warm the film with a heat gun to help it wrap tight.
How do I wash and care for it?
Hand wash with a mild car shampoo and a soft mitt, then rinse and dry with a clean microfiber towel. Skip harsh chemicals and high-pressure jets aimed straight at the edges. The film handles heat from minus 30 up to 140 C, but a garage-kept wrap keeps its color flip looking fresh longer than one baking in the sun all day. With good care it lasts for years.
Does it come off cleanly later?
On factory paint that is in good condition, yes. Warm the film gently and peel it back at a low angle and it lifts away without taking your paint with it. That clean removal is the whole advantage of a wrap over paint, you get the bold color now and your original finish back later.
How much film do I need for my car?
The roll is 1.52m (5ft) wide, which covers most panels in single pieces. As a rough guide a small car needs around 15m, a sedan around 18m, and a large SUV or truck closer to 22m to 25m. Add a little extra for mistakes, practice and the panels with tricky curves. If you are only doing a roof, hood or mirrors you will need far less.
