Aurora Green Color-Shift Car Wrap | Chameleon Vinyl
$180.00 USD
1.52*6m(5*20ft) / Aurora Green

Aurora Green is the kind of color that never sits still. Catch it head on and you get a deep emerald green. Walk around the car or watch it roll under the light and the panels drift into teal, blue, and a warm gold sheen near the highlights. It is a true chameleon flip, so the car looks like three different finishes in one trip across the parking lot.

This is a polymeric PVC vinyl with a glossy color-shift face, so the flip stays crisp and the surface reflects clean. It wraps right over your existing panels and adds a layer that takes the daily hits of dust, light grit, and washing instead of your factory paint. When you want a change later, it comes off and the original finish is still there underneath.

Key features

  • Color shifts as you move: layered pigment flips the shade with the viewing angle and the light, so the car looks alive in motion and never the same in two photos.
  • Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
  • Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
  • Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
  • Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
  • UV and weather resistant: the topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.

Frequently asked questions

What makes the Aurora Green color shift as I move around it?

The face film carries a color-shift pigment that bends light differently depending on the angle you view it from and the light hitting it. Stand in front and you read green. Move to the side or watch it under changing light and the green pulls toward teal, blue, and gold. Nothing electronic, it is the pigment doing the work.

Which colors does this one actually flip between?

Aurora Green starts as a deep emerald green when you face it straight on. As the angle and light change it moves through teal and a cooler blue, then lifts to a warm gold tone where the light catches the curves. Sunlight gives you the widest spread of tones, shade calms it down to a richer green.

Will this wrap hurt the paint or actually protect it?

It protects it. The vinyl sits on top of your factory paint and takes the daily wear from dust, light grit, and washing so the paint underneath stays sealed away. When you remove it the original finish is still there. It is a color wrap, not a everyday scratches and road film.

How does a color-shift wrap compare to a real color-flip paint job?

A true multi-tone chameleon paint job is one of the most expensive things you can do to a car, it takes a long time in the booth, and any scratch or panel swap is painful and costly to match. This wrap gives you the same flip for a fraction of the price, goes on far faster, can come off when you want a change, and keeps your factory paint safe the whole time.

Can I install this myself?

Yes. It uses a Henkel solvent-based acrylic air-release adhesive, so the glue channels let trapped air escape while you work and you can lift and reset the film as you go. You can run it dry or wet. A first-timer should start on a flat panel like a roof or hood, and use a heat gun to ease it around curves and lock the shift in.

How do I wash and care for it so the flip stays sharp?

Hand wash with a mild car shampoo and a soft mitt, rinse well, and dry with a microfibre towel. Skip harsh solvents and abrasive pads. Keeping it out of long sun exposure helps, and a garage-kept wrap will hold its color and shift longer. With good care a gloss color-shift wrap looks its best for years.

Does it remove cleanly when I want it off?

It does. Warm the film with a heat gun and peel it back slow at a low angle, and it lifts away in sheets without tearing up your paint. Any light adhesive left behind wipes off with an adhesive remover. That clean removal is the whole point of wrapping instead of painting.

How much film do I need for my car?

The roll is 1.52m wide, which is 5ft, so it covers full panels with room to wrap edges. The total length depends on your vehicle size and how much you are wrapping, so measure your panels first or run your model through a wrap coverage calculator. Always add a little extra for mistakes and for matching the flip direction across panels.
