Blue Sky Gloss Car Wrap | Polymeric Vinyl
🎉 Free Shipping! Ready to ship
Blue Sky is a clear, open daytime blue with a wet gloss shine that throws back light like fresh paint. It reads bright and easy in full sun and settles into a deeper, calmer tone under cloud or shade, so the panel never looks flat. On a hood, a full body, or a roof, it gives that just-painted look without the spray booth.
This is a color wrap that also works for the metal underneath. The gloss film lays a sealed layer over your factory paint and takes the daily hits of sun, road grime, light scuffs, and wash swirl in its place. When you want a different look or your stock color back, it lifts away and leaves the paint it covered as you found it.

Key features
- Painted-on gloss finish: a mirror-gloss topcoat gives the deep wet-paint shine without the cost of a respray.

- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
- UV and weather resistant: the gloss topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a Blue Sky gloss wrap last?
With normal care it holds its bright blue and gloss for years. Heat, harsh sun, and constant weather are what wear any wrap down over time, so a car that sleeps in a garage will keep this finish looking fresh longer than one parked outside every day. Regular gentle washing also adds life.
Will this wrap damage my paint or actually protect it?
It protects it. The Blue Sky film sits on top of your factory paint and takes the sun, grime, and light scuffs so the paint does not. On healthy factory paint in good shape it comes off clean later. The one thing to watch is paint that is already cracking, peeling, or full of old touch-ups, since weak paint can lift with any film.
Why pick a gloss wrap over a respray in this blue?
A respray in a blue like this means sanding, booth time, and a price that can run into the thousands, and once it is done your stock color is gone. A Blue Sky wrap costs less, goes on faster, keeps your original paint safe underneath, and peels off when you want to sell or switch colors. You also get a clean factory-style gloss without committing for life.
How much film do I need for my car?
The vinyl comes on rolls 1.52m (5ft) wide in 6m, 18m, and 23m lengths. A 6m length suits small jobs like a hood, roof, or mirrors. Most full small to mid cars land around the 18m length, and larger cars, SUVs, or trucks usually need the 23m roll. Add a little extra for mistakes and complex curves, and measure your panels before you order.
Can I install Blue Sky myself?
Yes, many DIY installers do. The Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive is air-release, so the channels in the glue let trapped air escape and cut down on bubbles while you work. You can run a dry or wet install. Take your time on bumpers and deep curves, use a heat gun to shape the film, and a clean indoor space makes a big difference on a full body.
Does Blue Sky come off cleanly when I want it gone?
It does on sound factory paint. Warm the film with a heat gun, lift a corner, and pull it back slow at a low angle so it releases evenly. Any light adhesive left behind wipes off with adhesive remover. Removing it gives you back the original paint it was hiding, which is why a wrap is the reversible way to run a bold color.
How do I wash and care for a Blue Sky wrap?
Hand washing is best. Use a soft mitt, a pH-neutral car soap, and clean water, then dry with a microfiber towel to stop spotting. Skip harsh solvents, brush-style automatic washes, and pressure washing right at the seams. Clear bird droppings, bugs, and fuel splashes quickly so they do not sit on the gloss and dull it.
Will the gloss or the blue fade over time?
Like any car finish, long sun exposure is the main thing that softens color and shine over the years. Blue Sky is built to resist it, and the film handles a wide temperature range from -30 to +140 C. Keeping it clean and parking out of constant direct sun when you can will hold that bright gloss blue much longer.
