The gloss top layer keeps it wet and mirror-clean so the color reads sharp from across the lot.
This is a color-change wrap, so it does two jobs at once. It transforms the look of your car, and the film itself takes the daily hits your factory paint would otherwise eat. Stone dust, light scuffs, bird mess, sun, and washing all land on the vinyl instead of the paint underneath. When you want a change later, the wrap comes off and the original finish is still there.
