Gulf Orange is that famous racing orange, warm and punchy, with fine metal flake worked right into the color layer. Park it in shade and it reads as a deep, confident orange with quiet sparkle. Roll it into the sun and the flake wakes up, throwing tiny points of light across every curve so the panel looks like it has real depth instead of a flat coat. It is loud in the best way without trying too hard.
This is a gloss metallic color-change wrap, not film for scratches. It gives your car a fresh metallic look while the vinyl sits over your factory paint and takes the daily hits first: light scuffs, bug splatter, sun, and grime. When you want a change later, it comes off and your original paint is still there underneath.

Key features
- Deep metallic sparkle: fine metal flake runs through the color layer, so the finish reads rich in the shade and glints with sparkle in direct sun.
- Glossy depth: a clear topcoat over the flake gives a wet, glossy shine with real depth, the same look factory metallic paint gets from flake in the basecoat.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.

Frequently asked questions
What does the metal flake actually do on Gulf Orange?
The flake is mixed into the color layer, so light bounces off thousands of tiny metal particles instead of a flat surface. That is what gives Gulf Orange its sparkle in the sun and its richer, deeper look in shade. A plain orange wrap looks one note. This one shifts as the light and angle change.
Does the surface feel rough or have texture?
No. The flake sits inside the color layer, not on top, so the gloss face film stays smooth to the touch. You get the sparkle of metal flake with a clean glossy surface, the same feel as a glossy painted panel.
Will wrapping in Gulf Orange damage my paint?
No, it protects it. The vinyl uses an air-release adhesive made to come off clean from healthy factory paint, and while it is on, the wrap shields that paint from light scuffs, bug splatter, sun, and road grime. Your original color stays underneath in better shape than if it had been exposed.
Why pick a Gulf Orange wrap over a real metallic respray?
A true metallic-flake respray in this orange is expensive, takes a long time, and is hard to touch up if you ding a panel. This wrap gives you the same flake-in-the-light look for far less, goes on much faster, and peels off later so you keep your factory paint and your resale value. A respray is permanent. This is not.
How do I wash and care for it?
Treat it like glossy paint. Hand wash with a soft mitt and pH neutral car soap, rinse well, and dry with a microfiber towel so you avoid water spots on the gloss. Skip harsh solvents and stiff brushes. Wipe off fuel, bird mess, and bugs quickly. A wrap kept in a garage out of constant sun will hold its sparkle and last longer.
Can I install Gulf Orange myself?
Yes, with patience. The air-release adhesive has channels that let trapped air escape, so bubbles are much easier to push out than with basic vinyl, and you can install dry or wet. You will want a squeegee, a heat gun or hot air source, and a clean space. First timers should start on a flat panel like a hood or roof before tackling tight curves and bumpers.
Does it remove cleanly later?
On sound factory paint, yes. Warm the vinyl gently with heat and pull it back slowly at a low angle so it lifts in one piece. Any light adhesive left behind comes off with a proper adhesive remover. That clean removal is the whole point of a color-change wrap versus a respray.
How much Gulf Orange film do I need for my car?
It depends on the size and shape of your vehicle. As a rough guide, a small car can take around 50 to 60 ft, a sedan around 60 to 75 ft, and a large SUV or truck more. We sell this in 30ft (9m) and 59ft (18m) roll lengths, so buy a bit extra for mistakes, recuts, and tight areas like mirrors and bumpers.
