Jazz Blue is a deep, confident blue with fine metal flake worked right into the color layer. Park it in the shade and it reads as a clean, glossy navy with real depth. Roll into direct sun and the flake wakes up, throwing tiny points of sparkle across every panel and curve. It is the kind of finish that looks different from across the lot than it does up close, and that is exactly the appeal.
You get the look of a custom metallic finish without touching your factory paint. The wrap lays over the original surface and shields it from sun, light scratches, and the grime of daily driving. When you want a change down the road, it comes back off. The paint underneath stays the way it left the factory.

Key features
- Deep metallic sparkle: fine metal flake runs through the color layer, so the finish reads rich in the shade and glints with sparkle in direct sun.
- Glossy depth: a clear topcoat over the flake gives a wet, glossy shine with real depth, the same look factory metallic paint gets from flake in the basecoat.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.

Frequently asked questions
What does the metallic flake actually do on Jazz Blue?
The flake sits inside the color layer, so the blue is not flat. In low light Jazz Blue looks like a rich glossy navy. In direct sun the fine flake catches the light and adds a fine sparkle that moves as you walk around the car. It gives the finish depth that a solid color cannot.
Does Jazz Blue look different in sun versus shade?
Yes, and that is the whole point of a metallic. In shade or on a cloudy day it reads as a deep, even blue with a clean gloss. Under bright sun the metal flake lights up and the surface gets that lively shimmer. Same panel, two moods, depending on the light.
Is the surface textured or smooth?
Smooth. The flake is sealed under the glossy top layer, so when you run your hand across it you feel a flat, slick gloss, not grit. The sparkle is visual only. It washes and wipes just like any smooth glossy panel.
Will this wrap hurt my paint or actually protect it?
On healthy factory paint it protects more than it harms. The film covers the original surface and takes the daily sun, light scratches, and road grime instead of your paint. The acrylic air-release adhesive is made to come off cleanly later. Wraps are best applied over sound, undamaged paint.
Why pick a Jazz Blue wrap over a real metallic respray?
A true metallic-flake respray is expensive, takes your car out of action for days, and is hard to color match if you ever ding a panel. A Jazz Blue wrap costs far less, goes on faster, keeps your factory paint sealed underneath, and peels off when you want a different look. A respray is permanent. A wrap is not.
How do I wash and care for Jazz Blue so it keeps its shine?
Hand wash with a mild car soap and a soft mitt, then rinse and dry with a clean microfiber towel. Skip harsh solvents and stiff brushes. Get bird droppings and bug splatter off quickly so they do not sit on the gloss. A wrap kept in a garage out of constant sun will hold its look longer, and with good care it lasts for years.
Can I install Jazz Blue myself?
Many DIY installers do. The Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive is air-release, so the channels let trapped air escape and help you reposition the film as you go, which cuts down on bubbles. You can run a dry or wet install. Flat and gently curved panels are the friendliest places to start. Deep recesses and mirrors take more patience and heat.
How much film do I need and what lengths are there?
Jazz Blue comes in 30ft (9m) and 59ft (18m) roll lengths. A full car usually needs the longer roll plus margin for mistakes, while bumpers, roofs, mirrors, and accent panels can be done from the shorter one. When in doubt, order a bit extra so you have room to re-pull a panel if the first lay is not perfect.
