Mahogany Red Metallic Car Wrap | Gloss Vinyl
💪 Hurry up! Only 9 left
Mahogany Red is a deep, warm red with a glossy finish and fine metal flake worked into the color layer. In the shade it reads rich and almost wine-dark, the kind of red that looks expensive without shouting. Roll it into direct sun and the flake wakes up, scattering tiny points of light across the panel so the whole car shifts and sparkles as you walk around it.
This is a color-change wrap, not just a look. The film lays a fresh skin of gloss Mahogany Red over your factory paint and shields that paint from sun, light scuffs, road grime, and the small daily wear that dulls a finish over time. When you are ready for a change, it comes off and the original paint is still there underneath.

Key features
- Deep metallic sparkle: fine metal flake runs through the color layer, so the finish reads rich in the shade and glints with sparkle in direct sun.
- Glossy depth: a clear topcoat over the flake gives a wet, glossy shine with real depth, the same look factory metallic paint gets from flake in the basecoat.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.

Frequently asked questions
What does the metal flake actually do on Mahogany Red?
The flake sits inside the color layer and catches light. In shade Mahogany Red looks like a deep, even wine red. In sunlight the tiny metallic particles light up and give the panel a fine sparkle and real depth, so the color looks alive instead of flat as the light moves over it.
Is the surface textured or smooth?
It is smooth. The metal flake is sealed under the glossy top layer of the film, so you see the sparkle but you feel a flat, glassy gloss surface. Running your hand across a Mahogany Red panel feels just like smooth painted bodywork.
Will this wrap damage my paint or actually protect it?
It protects it. The film covers your factory paint and takes the daily hits instead, the sun, light scuffs, bug splatter, and road grime. On healthy, well bonded factory paint the wrap removes cleanly later. Your original finish stays sealed and out of the weather the whole time Mahogany Red is on the car.
How is a metallic wrap different from a metallic respray?
A real metallic-flake respray is expensive, takes your car off the road for a long stretch, and is hard to patch if one panel gets damaged. Wrapping in Mahogany Red costs far less, goes on much faster, keeps your factory paint sealed underneath, and peels off when you want a different look. A respray is permanent and a wrap is not.
How do I wash and care for a Mahogany Red wrap?
Hand wash with a soft mitt and a gentle car shampoo, then rinse and pat dry. Skip harsh solvents, brushes, and abrasive polishes, and clear bird droppings or fuel splashes quickly so they do not sit on the gloss. Keeping it out of constant sun helps too. A garage-kept wrap holds its shine for longer.
Can I install this myself?
Yes, with patience. The film uses a Henkel air-release adhesive, so the glue has tiny channels that let trapped air escape and reduce bubbles while you work. You can do a dry or wet install. Flat and gently curved panels are very doable for a careful DIYer. For deep recesses and mirror caps, take your time and use heat to help the film conform.
Does Mahogany Red come off cleanly later?
On sound factory paint, yes. Warm the film with a heat source and peel it back slowly at a low angle. Any light adhesive left behind lifts with a proper adhesive remover. Because the gloss color lives in the film, taking it off simply uncovers the original paint that was protected underneath.
How much film do I need for my vehicle?
It depends on the size of the car and how much you are covering. The film comes in 30ft (9m) and 59ft (18m) roll lengths. A small hatch or a part wrap can work from the shorter roll, while a full wrap on a sedan, SUV, or truck usually needs the longer length plus extra for mistakes and complex curves. When in doubt, size up so you are not short mid-job.
