Hand wash with a mild car soap and a soft mitt, then rinse and dry with a microfiber towel. Skip harsh brushes and stay out of automatic brush washes. Wipe off fuel, bugs, and bird mess quickly. A garage-kept wrap holds its gloss and color far longer.

Many DIY installers can. The solvent-based acrylic adhesive is air-release, so trapped bubbles push out to the edge as you squeegee instead of getting stuck. You can run a dry or wet install. Curves and bumpers take patience and a heat gun, so practice on a flat panel first.
