Tourmalie Grey Metallic Car Wrap | Gloss Vinyl
🎉 Free Shipping! Ready to ship
Tourmalie Grey is a cool, smoky grey with real metal flake worked into the color. Park it in shade and it reads as a deep, moody graphite with a soft glossy sheen. Roll it into direct sun and the fine flake wakes up, scattering tiny points of light across every panel so the grey shifts and shimmers as you walk around the car. It is the kind of finish that looks expensive without shouting.
This is a color-change wrap, so it does more than just change the look. The film lays a glossy layer right over your factory paint and takes the daily hits of road grit, light scuffs, and UV for you. When you are ready for something new, it comes off and the original paint is still there underneath. You get a fresh metallic look now and your real paint kept clean for later.

Key features
- Deep metallic sparkle: fine metal flake runs through the color layer, so the finish reads rich in the shade and glints with sparkle in direct sun.
- Glossy depth: a clear topcoat over the flake gives a wet, glossy shine with real depth, the same look factory metallic paint gets from flake in the basecoat.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.

Frequently asked questions
What does the metal flake actually do on Tourmalie Grey?
The flake sits inside the color layer and catches light. In shade Tourmalie Grey looks like a deep, even graphite. In sun the tiny flakes light up and give the grey a fine sparkle and a sense of depth, so the panel seems to shift as you move around it. It is the same effect you pay a lot for with a real metallic respray.
Is the surface textured or smooth?
Smooth. The sparkle comes from flake suspended in the color, not from a rough or gritty top coat. Run your hand across Tourmalie Grey and it feels like a flat glossy panel. The metallic look is something you see, not something you feel.
Will wrapping hurt my paint or actually protect it?
On factory paint in good shape it protects rather than harms. The film covers the surface and takes the daily scuffs, grit, and sun instead of your clear coat. When removed properly the paint underneath stays as it was. Wrapping over chipping or already failing paint is the one case to avoid, since the film can lift loose flakes when it comes off.
How is a Tourmalie Grey wrap different from a metallic respray?
A real metallic-flake respray is one of the priciest paint jobs out there and it is hard to fix if it gets damaged. This wrap gives you a similar deep, sparkly grey for far less, it goes on in a fraction of the time, your original paint stays safe underneath, and you can take it off later. A respray is permanent. A wrap is reversible.
How do I wash and care for it?
Treat it like good paint. Hand wash with a soft mitt and a pH-neutral soap, rinse well, and dry with a clean microfiber. Skip harsh brushes and stay back a little with pressure washers. A wrap kept in a garage out of constant sun and rain will hold its gloss and last longer than one parked outside every day.
Can I install this myself?
Yes, with patience. The Henkel air-release adhesive has channels built in that let trapped air escape, so you get fewer bubbles and can reposition the film while you work. You can install dry or wet. Flat panels are friendly for first timers. Deep curves, bumpers, and mirrors take more heat and practice, so plenty of DIYers wrap the big panels themselves and leave the tricky bits to a shop.
Does it come off cleanly later?
On sound factory paint, yes. Warm the film with a heat source, lift a corner, and pull it back slowly at a low angle. It is designed to release without taking your paint with it. Any light adhesive left behind wipes off with a proper adhesive remover.
How much film do I need for my car?
As a rough guide, a small car needs around 50 to 55 feet, a sedan around 60 to 65 feet, and a large SUV or truck can run 75 feet or more. We offer 30ft (9m) and 59ft (18m) roll lengths, so plan for a little extra for curves, mistakes, and matching the flake direction across panels.
