Venice Purple Metallic Car Wrap | Gloss Vinyl

Venice Purple sits somewhere between a moody plum and a bright jewel tone. In the shade it reads as a deep, rich purple with a wet glossy shine. Roll into direct sun and the fine metal flake wakes up, throwing tiny sparkles across the panel and lifting the color into something brighter and more alive. The shift is what makes a metallic finish look so different from a flat solid color, and Venice Purple does it with real depth.
This is a color-change wrap, so it goes right over your factory paint and gives the body a fresh glossy purple skin. While it changes the look, it also takes the daily hits for you. Sun, road grime, light scuffs, and bug splatter land on the film instead of the paint underneath. When you are ready for a new look or want the original color back, the wrap comes off, so your factory finish stays protected the whole time it is on.

Key features
- Deep metallic sparkle: fine metal flake runs through the color layer, so the finish reads rich in the shade and glints with sparkle in direct sun.
- Glossy depth: a clear topcoat over the flake gives a wet, glossy shine with real depth, the same look factory metallic paint gets from flake in the basecoat.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.

Frequently asked questions
What does the metallic flake actually do on Venice Purple?
The flake is fine metal mixed into the color layer. It catches and bounces light, so the purple looks deep and almost solid in shade, then sparkles and brightens in direct sun. That light play is the whole point of a metallic finish and it gives Venice Purple far more depth than a flat purple.
Does the wrap feel rough or textured because of the flake?
No. The flake sits inside the color layer, not on top. The surface is a smooth glossy face film, so Venice Purple feels slick and flat to the touch even though it sparkles in the light. You get the metallic look without any grit or texture.
Will wrapping hurt my paint, or does it actually protect it?
On factory paint in good shape, the wrap protects it. Venice Purple takes the daily wear, sun, grime, and light scuffs, while the paint underneath stays sealed away. It uses an air-release adhesive made to come off cleanly later, so the original finish is shielded the whole time the wrap is on.
How is this different from getting a real metallic purple respray?
A true metallic-flake respray is expensive, takes the car out of action for a while, and is hard to color match if you ever need a repair. Venice Purple wrap costs far less, goes on much faster, protects your factory paint instead of replacing it, and peels off when you want a change. A respray is permanent and a wrap is not.
How do I wash and care for a Venice Purple wrap?
Hand wash with a mild car soap and a soft mitt, then rinse and dry with a clean microfiber. Skip harsh solvents and stiff brushes that can dull the gloss. Wipe off bird droppings and bug splatter quickly so they do not sit on the film. It lasts for years with steady care, and a garage-kept car holds the gloss and sparkle even longer.
Can I install Venice Purple myself at home?
Yes, many DIY installers do. The Henkel air-release adhesive has tiny channels that let air escape, so you get far fewer bubbles and can reposition the film as you work. You can run a dry or wet install. Take your time on curves and recesses, use heat to set it, and the gloss metallic finish hides minor effort better than a matte film would.
Does Venice Purple come off cleanly when I want a change?
Yes. When removed with gentle heat and a slow steady pull, the film lifts away and leaves your factory paint as it was. Clean removal is easiest on paint that was in good condition when the wrap went on. That is what makes a wrap so flexible compared to a permanent respray.
How much film do I need for my car?
It depends on the size of your vehicle. As a rough guide, a small car can take around 50 to 55 ft, a sedan around 60 to 65 ft, and a large SUV or truck more. We offer 30 ft (9 m) and 59 ft (18 m) roll lengths, so order a little extra for mistakes and complex curves rather than coming up short.
