Nardo Dark Grey Gloss Car Wrap | Polymeric Vinyl
💪 Hurry up! Only 9 left
Nardo Dark Grey is the moody motorsport grey that made performance cars look mean without trying. This is the deeper, darker take on it. Under daylight it reads almost charcoal, then it catches the light and shows a clean gloss shine that looks poured on rather than wrapped. It sits in that sweet spot between black and silver, so it hides road grime better than a true black yet still holds a sharp edge along your body lines.
Because it is a real gloss vinyl, it does more than change the color. The film lays over your factory paint and takes the daily hits for it: car wash swirls, light scuffs, sun, bug splatter and door handle wear. Your original paint stays sealed and protected underneath, and when you are ready for a change the wrap comes back off.

Key features
- Painted-on gloss finish: a mirror-gloss topcoat gives the deep wet-paint shine without the cost of a respray.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
- UV and weather resistant: the gloss topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.
- Easy to keep clean: wipes down and washes like paint, with no special care needed.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a Nardo Dark Grey gloss wrap last?
With normal care this gloss grey holds up for years. Darker greys like this one are pretty forgiving since light dust and water spots do not stand out the way they can on a flat black. Keep the car garaged or out of constant harsh sun and the finish stays glossy even longer. We do not quote a fixed year count because real life depends on your climate, parking and wash habits.
Will the wrap damage my paint, or does it protect it?
It protects it. The Nardo Dark Grey film bonds to the surface with a gentle Henkel solvent based acrylic air-release adhesive that is made to come back off clean on factory paint in good condition. While it is on, your real paint is shielded from sun, light scratches, bug guts and wash swirls. A lot of owners wrap specifically to keep the original paint mint underneath.
Gloss wrap or a full respray?
For a deep grey like Nardo, the wrap usually wins. A quality respray in this shade costs far more, takes longer and permanently changes the car. This gloss vinyl gets you that wet painted-on grey for less, keeps your factory paint sealed under it, and peels off when you want to sell or switch colors. A respray cannot be undone. A wrap can.
How much film do I need for my car?
Rolls are 1.52m (5ft) wide and come in 6m, 18m and 23m lengths. A small hatch or sedan generally needs around 18m for a full wrap, while larger cars, SUVs and trucks lean toward 23m. The 6m roll is great for a roof, hood, mirrors or accent panels in this Nardo Dark Grey. When you are unsure, size up. Extra film covers practice and any redo on tight curves.
Can I install this myself?
Yes. The air-release adhesive has channels built into it that let trapped air escape as you squeegee, so you fight far fewer bubbles than with cheap film. You can run it dry or wet. This dark grey is also handy for a first wrap because minor imperfections hide better on a deeper color than on a bright gloss. Take your time on the bumpers and mirrors and you will get a clean result.
Does it come off cleanly later?
It does. When you are done with the Nardo Dark Grey look, warm the film with a little heat and pull it back slowly at a low angle. On healthy factory paint it lifts without taking the paint with it. Any light adhesive left behind wipes away with adhesive remover. That clean removal is exactly why a wrap beats a permanent respray.
How do I wash and care for it?
Treat it like good paint. Hand wash with a soft mitt and a pH neutral car soap, rinse well and dry with a clean microfiber so you avoid water spots. Skip harsh brushes and stay off the high pressure jets at very close range, especially near the seams. The film handles heat from -30 up to +140 C, so normal sun and engine warmth are no problem for this gloss grey.
Will the gloss fade over time?
Cared for properly, this Nardo Dark Grey keeps its shine well. Darker greys do absorb more sun than pale colors, so the smartest move is regular washing and shade or a garage when you can. Avoid letting bird droppings, tree sap or bug splatter bake on, since those are what dull a gloss finish faster than the sun alone.
