Midnight Green Metallic Car Wrap | Gloss Vinyl
💪 Hurry up! Only 8 left
Midnight Green sits dark and almost still in the shade, like a forest at dusk. Then the sun hits it and the fine metal flake wakes up, scattering tiny points of light through the gloss so the green reads richer and full of depth. Move around the car and the color shifts with you, deep and quiet from one angle, bright and lit from another. It is the kind of green that looks expensive without shouting.
This is a color-change wrap, so it goes right over your existing paint and seals it from the daily stuff that wears a finish down. Sun, road grime, light scuffs from washing and parking, the wrap takes that instead of your clear coat. When you are ready for a new look, it comes back off and the factory paint is still there underneath. With good care a wrap like this holds its shine for years, and one that lives in a garage will last even longer.

Key features
- Deep metallic sparkle: fine metal flake runs through the color layer, so the finish reads rich in the shade and glints with sparkle in direct sun.
- Glossy depth: a clear topcoat over the flake gives a wet, glossy shine with real depth, the same look factory metallic paint gets from flake in the basecoat.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.

Frequently asked questions
What does the metallic flake actually do on Midnight Green?
The flake is fine metal mixed right into the color layer. In low light Midnight Green looks like a deep, almost solid dark green. Under direct sun the flake catches the light and throws back tiny sparkles, which gives the green more depth and makes it shift as you walk around the car. It is the same effect that makes a real metallic paint job pop, just in a wrap.
Does it look different in the sun than in the shade?
Yes, and that is the fun of this color. Parked in shade or on a cloudy day Midnight Green stays dark and moody. Roll it into sunlight and the metal flake lights up, the gloss deepens, and the green reads much brighter and livelier. You get two looks from one wrap depending on the light.
Is the surface textured or smooth?
Smooth. The metal flake is sealed inside the color layer under a glossy top, so what you touch is a slick, flat gloss finish. The sparkle is something you see, not something you feel. It wipes down just like a painted panel.
Will wrapping my car hurt the paint, or does it protect it?
It protects it. The Midnight Green vinyl lays over your factory paint and takes the daily abuse instead, sun, dust, light scratches from washing and parking. Your clear coat stays sealed underneath. As long as the paint is sound and clean when it goes on, the wrap shields it rather than harming it.
Why pick a metallic wrap over a metallic respray?
A real metallic-flake respray is one of the priciest paint jobs you can order, it takes your car off the road for a long time, and if you ding a panel later it is hard and costly to match. A Midnight Green wrap gets you that same flake-in-the-light look for far less, goes on much faster, protects the paint you already paid for, and peels off clean when you want a change. A respray is permanent. This is not.
How do I wash and care for a metallic wrap?
Treat it gently and it keeps its shine for years. Hand wash with a mild soap and a soft mitt, rinse well, and dry with a clean microfiber. Skip harsh brushes and strong solvents, and go easy with pressure washers, keep them back and off any seams. Get bird droppings, bugs, and fuel splashes off quickly so they do not sit on the gloss. A car kept in a garage will hold up longer than one parked in full sun all day.
Can I install this myself?
Many DIY installers do. The film uses an air-release adhesive, so the channels in the glue let trapped air escape out to the edges as you squeegee, which cuts down on bubbles and lets you reposition while you work. You can run a dry or wet install depending on what you are comfortable with. Flat panels are very doable at home. Tight curves, deep recesses, and full bumpers take patience and some heat, so plan for time on a clean, dust-free day.
How much film do I need for my car?
It depends on the size and shape of your vehicle and whether you are doing the whole car or just a few panels. The film comes in 30ft (9m) and 59ft (18m) roll lengths. A small car or a partial wrap can work from the shorter roll, while a full wrap on a larger vehicle usually needs the longer length plus extra for mistakes and complex areas. When in doubt, size up so you are not left short mid-project.
