Space Gray Gloss Car Wrap | Polymeric Vinyl
🎉 Free Shipping! Ready to ship
Space Gray reads cool and modern, a deep neutral gray with enough shine to catch the light like fresh paint. It sits right between silver and charcoal, so it looks sharp in daylight and turns moody under streetlights. On a sedan, coupe, or truck it gives that high-end factory finish without the price of a respray.
This is a gloss color wrap, not a clear film. It changes the look of your car and at the same time puts a layer over your factory paint, taking the daily hits from sun, grit, and washing instead of the original coat. When you are ready for a change, it comes off and the paint underneath stays the way it was.

Key features
- Painted-on gloss finish: a mirror-gloss topcoat gives the deep wet-paint shine without the cost of a respray.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
- UV and weather resistant: the gloss topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.
- Easy to keep clean: wipes down and washes like paint, with no special care needed.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a Space Gray gloss wrap last?
With normal care it holds its gloss and color for years. A daily-driven car parked outside will see more sun and weather than one kept in a garage, so garage-kept Space Gray wraps tend to look fresh longer. Regular gentle washing makes a big difference in how long the shine stays.
Will this wrap damage my paint or protect it?
It protects it. The Space Gray film sits on top of your factory paint and takes the daily wear from sun, dust, and washing instead of the original coat. As long as your paint is healthy and well stuck down when you wrap it, the film shields it rather than harming it.
Space Gray gloss wrap or a respray, which should I pick?
A wrap is cheaper, faster, and reversible. A Space Gray respray is permanent and can hurt resale because it changes the original paint. With this wrap you get a clean gloss gray finish, you keep the factory paint safe underneath, and you can switch colors later without repainting.
How much film do I need for my car?
The film is 1.52m (5ft) wide and comes in 6m, 18m, and 23m lengths. A small car or a partial job like a roof and mirrors fits in the shorter rolls, while most full sedans and coupes need around 18m and larger SUVs or trucks lean toward 23m. Measure your panels first and add extra for mistakes and curves.
Can I install Space Gray myself?
Yes, plenty of DIY installers do. The solvent-based acrylic air-release adhesive lets trapped air escape through tiny channels, so you get fewer bubbles and can reposition the film as you work. You can install it dry or wet. Take your time on curves and edges and use heat to set it down.
Does it remove cleanly later?
In most cases yes. When the time comes, warm the Space Gray film with gentle heat and peel it back slowly at a low angle so it lifts without fighting you. Healthy factory paint usually comes out clean underneath, with any light adhesive left behind wiped off with adhesive remover.
How do I wash and care for a Space Gray wrap?
Hand washing is best. Use a mild car soap, a soft mitt, and clean water, then dry with a microfibre towel to avoid spots. Skip harsh scrubbing and stiff brushes. Clear bird droppings and bug splatter quickly so they do not sit on the gloss, and the gray shine keeps looking deep.
Does the gloss fade over time?
Like any finish exposed to the sun, gloss can dull slowly over the years, and Space Gray is no different. You can slow it down a lot by parking in shade or a garage when you can and keeping the film clean. Regular gentle washing keeps the gray crisp and the shine looking its best.
