Vintage Green Gloss Car Wrap | Polymeric Vinyl
🎉 Free Shipping! Ready to ship
Vintage Green is a soft, old-school green with a warm muted tone and a deep wet shine. It reads classic and understated in the shade, then catches the light with a mirror-clean gloss that makes the whole car look freshly painted. It suits restomods, daily drivers, and anyone who wants a retro color that still feels rich and modern.
This is a gloss color wrap, not paint. It lays a smooth glossy layer of polymeric vinyl over your existing panels, so you change the look of the car while the factory paint stays sealed underneath against daily wear like light scuffs, road grime, and sun exposure.

Key features
- Painted-on gloss finish: a mirror-gloss topcoat gives the deep wet-paint shine without the cost of a respray.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
- UV and weather resistant: the gloss topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.
- Easy to keep clean: wipes down and washes like paint, with no special care needed.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a Vintage Green gloss wrap last?
With good care it holds its shine for years. The biggest factor is where you park. A car kept in a garage out of constant sun and weather will keep that deep Vintage Green gloss looking fresh far longer than one left outside around the clock. Regular hand washing helps a lot too.
Will this wrap damage my paint or actually protect it?
It protects it. The Vintage Green vinyl sits on top of your factory paint and shields it from daily wear like light scuffs, road grime, and UV exposure. As long as your original paint is healthy and well stuck when you apply it, the wrap guards the surface underneath rather than harming it.
Gloss wrap or a full respray, which makes more sense?
For most people the wrap wins. A respray in this kind of green costs far more, takes longer, and is permanent. Vintage Green gloss vinyl is cheaper, goes on faster, comes off later, and keeps your original paint intact underneath, which is better for resale. You also get the same painted-on glossy look without touching the factory finish.
How much film do I need for my car?
The rolls are 1.52m wide (5ft) and come in 6m, 18m, and 23m lengths. A small car or a partial job like a roof, hood, or mirrors usually fits the 6m roll. A full wrap on a sedan typically needs the 18m roll, and larger vehicles or SUVs are safer with the 23m to cover panels, mistakes, and complex curves. Buy a little extra rather than running short on a panel.
Can I install Vintage Green myself?
Yes, DIY is doable. The film uses a Henkel solvent-based acrylic air-release adhesive, so tiny channels let trapped air escape and you can reposition before you lock it down. You can install dry or wet. Take your time on bumpers and deep curves, use heat to shape the vinyl, and work clean. First timers should start with a flat panel like a roof or hood.
Does the wrap come off cleanly later?
Yes. When you want to remove it, gentle heat softens the adhesive and the Vintage Green vinyl peels away in sheets. Done at a sensible pace on healthy factory paint, it comes off without taking your paint with it and leaves the original finish ready to show or rewrap.
How do I wash and care for it?
Treat it like a glossy painted surface. Hand wash with a mild car soap and a soft mitt, rinse well, and dry with a clean microfiber to keep that wet shine. Skip harsh brushes and stiff automatic car washes. Clear off bird droppings, bug splatter, and fuel spills quickly so they do not sit on the gloss.
Will the green fade over time?
The Vintage Green color and gloss are built to stay rich, and the film handles real conditions from -30C to +140C. Like any finish, constant direct sun is the hardest test, so garage storage and regular washing keep the color looking deep. Cars left baking outside every day will always age faster than ones kept covered.
