Ferrari Red Gloss Car Wrap | Polymeric Vinyl
$150.00 USD
1.52*6m(5*20ft) / Farrari Red

Ferrari Red is the red people turn around for. It pours on deep and warm, with a wet glass shine that throws clean highlights down the body lines and reads pure and saturated in full sun. From across a lot it looks like a fresh factory respray, not a wrap.

Under that shine it is a polymeric PVC gloss film that lays over your existing panels and locks down with an air-release adhesive. So while you are getting a head-turning color change, the factory paint underneath stays sealed away from sun, light grit, road film, and the small daily knocks that dull a finish over time. When you want to go back, the wrap comes off and the original paint is still there.

Key features

  • Painted-on gloss finish: a mirror-gloss topcoat gives the deep wet-paint shine without the cost of a respray.
  • Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
  • Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
  • Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
  • Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
  • UV and weather resistant: the gloss topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.
  • Easy to keep clean: wipes down and washes like paint, with no special care needed.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a Ferrari Red gloss wrap last?

With normal care this red holds its gloss and depth for years. Heat, harsh sun, and constant weather are what wear any wrap down, so a car that sleeps in a garage will keep that deep Ferrari Red shine longer than one parked outside every day. Wash it gently and skip automated brush washes and it stays looking fresh much longer.

Will this wrap damage my paint or actually protect it?

It protects it. The film sits on top of your factory paint and shields it from sun, light road grit, and the small daily marks that fade a finish. Your real paint stays sealed and untouched under the Ferrari Red. On solid factory paint in good shape it removes cleanly later with no harm.

Ferrari Red gloss wrap or a full respray, which makes more sense?

A respray in this kind of red costs far more, takes your car off the road for days, and permanently changes the paint. This wrap gives you the same rich painted-on red gloss for a lot less, goes on faster, and peels off when you want the original color back. You also keep your factory paint protected the whole time it is wrapped.

How much Ferrari Red film do I need for my car?

The rolls are 1.52m wide (about 5ft) and come in 6m, 18m, and 23m lengths. As a rough guide, a small coupe or hatch usually needs around 15m, a sedan around 18m, and a large SUV or truck closer to 23m or more. Add extra for mirrors, door jambs, and learning curves. When in doubt size up so you are matching one continuous run of Ferrari Red.

Can I install this myself?

Yes. The Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive is air-release, so it has channels that let trapped air push out as you squeegee instead of leaving bubbles. That makes large flat panels much more forgiving for a first wrap. You can run it dry or wet, and a little heat from a heat gun helps the film stretch around curves and corners. Take your time on the tight spots.

Does it remove cleanly when I want it off?

On factory paint that is in good shape, yes. Warm the film with a heat gun and pull it back slowly at a low angle and the Ferrari Red lifts away. Any light adhesive left behind wipes off with a proper adhesive remover. That clean removal is the whole point of wrapping instead of painting.

How do I wash and care for the gloss?

Hand wash with a soft mitt and a pH neutral car shampoo, then rinse and dry with a clean microfiber. Skip automatic brush washes and harsh solvents, and clear off bird droppings, fuel splashes, and bug splatter quickly so they do not sit on the surface. Treat the gloss like fresh paint and Ferrari Red keeps its mirror shine.

Will the red fade over time?

This is a stable color film, so it holds its tone well through normal use. Like any finish, long term sun and heat are the main things that dull a color over the years, so keeping the car garaged or out of constant direct sun helps the Ferrari Red stay deep and saturated. Regular gentle washing keeps it looking its best.
