Flip Glacial Frost Blue Gloss Car Wrap | Polymeric Vinyl
🎉 Free Shipping! Ready to ship
Flip Glacial Frost Blue moves with the light. In bright sun it reads like a cool icy blue, then it slides toward a soft frosted silver-violet as you walk around the car. The gloss face throws a wet, painted-on shine that makes the flip pop on curves, hoods, and mirror caps. It looks deep without being loud, the kind of finish people circle back to take a second look at.
This is a color and cosmetic wrap, not paint. It lays a smooth gloss layer right over your factory paint, so you get a fresh color shift while the panel underneath stays sealed off from sun, grime, and the small daily wear that dulls a finish. When you want your original paint back, the film comes off and the paint is still there.

Key features
- Painted-on gloss finish: a mirror-gloss topcoat gives the deep wet-paint shine without the cost of a respray.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
- UV and weather resistant: the gloss topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.
- Easy to keep clean: wipes down and washes like paint, with no special care needed.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a Flip Glacial Frost Blue gloss wrap last?
With normal care it holds its flip and shine for years. The color-shift pigment sits under the gloss face, so it stays protected from daily handling. A car kept in a garage will keep that icy frost look longer than one parked in full sun and weather all day. Regular gentle washing makes a real difference too.
Will this wrap damage my paint, or does it protect it?
It protects it. The Henkel solvent-based air-release adhesive is made to hold firm while you drive and still release cleanly later. Once Flip Glacial Frost Blue is on, your factory paint is sealed away from sun, road grime, and the small scuffs of everyday driving. The best base is healthy original paint in good shape.
Should I get a gloss wrap or just respray the car this blue?
A wrap is the easier call. A color-shift respray like this would cost far more, takes much longer, and changes your paint forever. Flip Glacial Frost Blue gives you the same flipping gloss look, goes on faster, keeps the factory paint underneath, and peels off when you want a change. You also get a flip effect that is tough to match in standard paint.
How much film do I need for my car?
The rolls are 1.52m wide (5ft) and come in 6m, 18m, and 23m lengths. A small project like a hood, roof, or mirrors fits in the 6m roll. Most full cars land around the 18m roll, and larger vehicles or first-time installers who want extra margin for mistakes should go with 23m. When in doubt, size up so the flip pattern lines up clean across panels.
Can I install Flip Glacial Frost Blue myself?
Yes. The air-release adhesive has channels that let trapped air escape, so bubbles push out instead of getting stuck. You can do a dry or wet install. Take your time on curves and recesses, keep steady heat, and work panel by panel. Mirrors and a hood are a friendly first project before you tackle a whole car.
Does the wrap come off cleanly later?
It does. When you are ready for a new look or your factory color, warm the film and pull it back slowly at a low angle. Because the adhesive is built to release, healthy factory paint stays intact underneath. Any light residue wipes off with a proper adhesive remover.
How do I wash and care for this finish?
Hand wash with a gentle car shampoo and a soft mitt, then rinse and dry with a clean microfiber towel. Skip harsh brushes and pressure washing close to the edges. Get bird droppings and bug splatter off quickly so they do not sit on the gloss. Treated well, the flip and shine stay sharp far longer.
Will the gloss or the color flip fade over time?
The gloss face is built to take heat from -30 to +140 C and shrug off normal sun and weather. The color-shift pigment lives below that protective gloss layer, so the icy blue to frost flip holds up well. Keeping it clean and parking out of constant direct sun when you can will keep both the shine and the flip looking fresh.
