Ghost Midnight Metallic Car Wrap | Gloss Vinyl
$190.00 USD
1.52*6m(5*20ft) / Ghost Midnight Purple

Ghost Midnight reads as a deep near-black in low light, then opens up the moment the sun hits it. Fine metal flake sits inside the gloss color layer, so the panel shifts from a quiet dark blue-black in the shade to a sparkling, almost liquid depth under direct light. It is the look of a custom dark metallic finish without the price or the commitment.

This is a color-change vinyl wrap, so it lays over your factory paint and seals it from sun, light scratches, road grime, and the small daily wear that dulls a finish. Your real paint stays protected and untouched underneath. When you want a new look later, it comes off and the original color is still there.

Key features

  • Deep metallic sparkle: fine metal flake runs through the color layer, so the finish reads rich in the shade and glints with sparkle in direct sun.
  • Glossy depth: a clear topcoat over the flake gives a wet, glossy shine with real depth, the same look factory metallic paint gets from flake in the basecoat.
  • Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
  • Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
  • Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
  • Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.

Frequently asked questions

What does the metallic flake actually do on Ghost Midnight?

The flake is mixed into the gloss color layer, so it catches and scatters light across the panel. In shade Ghost Midnight looks like a deep dark blue-black. In direct sun the fine flake lights up and gives the color sparkle and depth, almost like a dark liquid metal. It is the same shift you pay a lot for with a real metallic respray.

Does the wrap feel rough or textured because of the flake?

No. The metal flake sits inside the color layer, not on the surface. The face film is a smooth 4.1mil gloss, so Ghost Midnight feels slick and flat to the touch. You see the sparkle, you do not feel it.

Will wrapping my car damage the paint?

No. This vinyl is made to come off clean. It actually shields your factory paint from sun, light scratches, and road grime while it is on. The Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive holds firm during use and lifts away cleanly when you are done, leaving your original paint as it was.

Ghost Midnight wrap or a metallic respray, which makes more sense?

A real metallic-flake respray is expensive, takes your car out of action for a long time, and is hard to repair or match if you scuff a panel. This wrap gives you a similar dark metallic look for far less, goes on faster, protects the paint under it, and peels off when you want a change. A respray is permanent. This is not.

Can I install Ghost Midnight myself?

Yes. The 1.6mil air-release adhesive has channels that let trapped air escape, so you can reposition and squeegee out bubbles instead of fighting them. It supports both dry and wet install, so you can pick the method you are comfortable with. Take your time on curves and use gentle heat to set it.

How do I wash and care for a Ghost Midnight wrap?

Hand wash with a mild soap and a soft mitt, then rinse and pat dry. Skip harsh brushes and stay back a bit with pressure washers. The film handles -30 to +140 C, so normal weather is fine. Park in the shade or a garage when you can. A garage-kept wrap holds its gloss and sparkle for longer.

Does it remove cleanly later?

Yes. When you are ready for a new look, warm the vinyl gently and peel it back at a low angle. The adhesive is designed to release without tearing or leaving heavy residue on properly cared-for factory paint. Any light adhesive left behind wipes off with adhesive remover.

How much film do I need for my car?

It depends on your vehicle size and how much you are covering. A full wrap on a sedan usually needs around 55 to 60ft, while a coupe or smaller car needs less. Larger SUVs and trucks need more. We offer 30ft (9m) and 59ft (18m) roll lengths, so order a touch extra for mistakes, mirrors, and recessed areas.
