Sunbath Yellow Gloss Car Wrap | Polymeric Vinyl
$180.00 USD
1.52*6m(5*20ft) / Sunbath Yellow

Sunbath Yellow is a warm, sunlit yellow with a wet gloss that catches light the way fresh paint does. It reads bold in full sun and still holds its richness on a grey day, so the car looks alive in any weather. This is a color statement that turns heads at every stoplight.

It is a polymeric PVC gloss film, not a paint job and not paint protection film. You get a deep glossy color layer that also takes the daily hits your factory paint would otherwise wear, things like light scuffs, sun, and road grime. Wrap it on, enjoy the look, and peel it off later with the original paint kept safe underneath.

Key features

  • Painted-on gloss finish: a mirror-gloss topcoat gives the deep wet-paint shine without the cost of a respray.
  • Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
  • Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
  • Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
  • Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
  • UV and weather resistant: the gloss topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.
  • Easy to keep clean: wipes down and washes like paint, with no special care needed.

Frequently asked questions

How long will a Sunbath Yellow gloss wrap last?

With normal care this gloss yellow holds its shine and color for years on the road. Heat, sun, and washing all factor in, so a car that lives in a garage will keep that bright finish longer than one parked outside all day. Wash it gently and it stays looking sharp.

Will the wrap damage my paint or actually protect it?

It protects it. The Sunbath Yellow film sits on top of your factory paint and takes the daily wear instead, things like light scratches, sun, and road grime. As long as your existing paint is healthy and well stuck down, the wrap shields it rather than harming it.

Gloss wrap or a respray, which makes more sense?

A respray in this yellow costs more, takes longer, and is permanent. The Sunbath Yellow wrap is cheaper, goes on faster, gives you more color choices, and peels off when you want your original paint back. It also guards the factory finish underneath, which a respray cannot do.

How much film do I need for my car?

The rolls are 1.52m (5ft) wide and come in 6m, 18m, and 23m lengths. A small two-door usually wants around 15m, a midsize sedan about 18m, and a large SUV or truck closer to 23m. Add a little extra in Sunbath Yellow for mirrors, recuts, and practice pieces.

Can I install Sunbath Yellow myself?

Yes, many DIY installers do. The Henkel air-release adhesive has channels that push out bubbles as you squeegee, so you get fewer trapped pockets and can reposition while you work. Take your time on curves and bumpers and the bright yellow lays down smooth. You can install dry or wet.

Does it come off cleanly later?

It does. When you are ready for a change, warm the Sunbath Yellow film and peel it back slowly at a low angle. On sound factory paint it lifts away without taking the finish with it. Any light adhesive left behind wipes off with a proper adhesive remover.

How do I wash and care for the wrap?

Hand wash with mild car soap and a soft mitt, then dry with a clean microfiber towel. Skip harsh solvents and stiff brushes that could dull the gloss. Clear bird droppings and fuel spills quickly so the Sunbath Yellow surface stays clean and keeps that wet shine.

Will the gloss or the yellow fade over time?

This film is built to hold its gloss and its color under daily sun and weather. Bright yellows live their best life out of constant harsh sun, so a garage-kept car keeps that sunlit pop longer. Regular gentle washing and the odd wax-safe sealant help the finish stay vivid.
