Purple Holographic Chrome Car Wrap | Vinyl
$340.00 USD
1.42*18m(4.7*59ft) / Purple

The base read is a deep mirror purple. Catch it at an angle or in bright light and it throws pink, blue, green and gold sparks across the chrome. Indoors under flat light it calms down and looks more like a solid liquid purple, then comes alive again the moment it sees the sun.

Under the chrome surface it is a working wrap. The film sits over your factory paint and takes the daily dust, light scratches and weather instead of the paint. The self adhesive has air-egress channels so it lays down clean with no trapped bubbles. When you remove it the paint underneath is in the same shape you covered it in, often cleaner.

Key features

  • Rainbow laser flake: the holographic surface throws pink, blue, green and gold that shifts as you move around the car.
  • Mirror chrome base: deep mirror purple that reads as liquid chrome and lights up in sun and streetlights.
  • Air-egress backing: built-in air channels push bubbles out for a clean, flat lay.
  • Flexible film: stretches and cuts to fit panels, accents, decals and graphics.
  • Protects the paint underneath: the film takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed.
  • Removable: lifts off later without leaving residue on the paint.

Frequently asked questions

How does the Purple Holographic Chrome color shift actually work?

The film is a polyester based holographic chrome with a rainbow laser flake worked into a mirror surface. The flake bends light at different angles, so as you walk around the car or the sun moves, the purple breaks into pink, blue, green and gold. Light and viewing angle trigger the flip. There is no app, switch or heat needed.

What colors will people actually see on this wrap?

The base read is a deep mirror purple. Catch it at an angle or in bright light and it throws pink, blue, green and gold sparks across the chrome. Indoors under flat light it calms down and looks more like a solid liquid purple, then comes alive again the moment it sees the sun.

Will this wrap damage my paint or protect it?

It protects it. The wrap sits on top of your factory paint and takes the daily dust, light scratches and weather instead of the paint. The self adhesive has air-egress channels so it lays down clean with no trapped bubbles. When you remove it the paint underneath is in the same shape you covered it in, often cleaner.

How is this different from a custom color flip paint job?

A true color shifting paint job is one of the most expensive things you can do to a car, takes a long time, and is a nightmare to repair if a panel gets scratched. This wrap gives you a similar flip effect for a fraction of the cost, goes on far faster, shields the paint you already have, and peels off when you want a new look. Paint is permanent. This is not.

How do I wash and care for it?

Hand wash with a mild soap and a soft mitt, then rinse and dry. Skip automatic brush washes and high pressure tips held close to the edges. Keep it out of harsh chemicals and clean off bird mess and bug splatter quickly. A holographic chrome wrap that lives in a garage will hold its mirror flake longer than one parked in the sun all day.

Can I install this myself?

Yes, plenty of DIY installers do. The film is self adhesive with air-egress channels and installs air-released, so the air pushes out through the channels as you squeegee and you avoid bubbles. Take your time on curves, work with a heat source to set the film, and do clean panels like a roof or hood before tackling bumpers and mirrors.

Does it remove cleanly later?

It does. When you are ready for a change, warm the film and peel it back slowly at a low angle. Because it sat over your paint rather than soaking into it, you get your factory finish back. Pull gently around sharp edges and recesses so the film lifts in larger pieces.

How much film do I need for my car?

A small coupe usually takes around 18 meters, a midsize sedan about 20 to 22 meters, and a large SUV or truck closer to 25 meters. Add extra for mirrors, door jambs, learning curves and fresh test pieces. When in doubt order a little more so you are not splicing in a second batch partway through.
