Ceramic gives your car a soft, flat finish with zero shine. The color reads clean and stony in daylight and stays muted under streetlights, so the body looks smooth and uniform instead of glossy. It is the calm, understated kind of matte that makes a car look custom without shouting for attention.
This is a color wrap, not paint. The polymeric vinyl lays a flat non-reflective layer right over your factory finish, so you get the stealth matte look while the original paint stays sealed underneath from daily grime, light scratches and sun. When you want a change later, it comes off and the paint is still there.

Key features
- Flat matte finish: a non-reflective topcoat gives the factory-flat, no-shine look that paint cannot match without a costly custom job.
- Hides minor flaws: the matte surface softens light, so it disguises small swirls and imperfections instead of spotlighting them like gloss does.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
- UV and weather resistant: the topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.

Frequently asked questions
How long will a Ceramic matte wrap last on my car?
With good care it holds its flat Ceramic finish for years. The biggest factor is where you park. A car kept in a garage keeps that even matte look much longer than one left baking in full sun and rain every day. Wash it gently and keep fuel and bird mess off it and the finish stays clean.
Will this wrap damage my factory paint?
No. Ceramic matte does the opposite. It lays over your paint and shields it from daily grime, light scratches and UV. As long as your original paint is healthy and well stuck when you wrap it, the film protects what is underneath rather than harming it.
Ceramic matte wrap or a matte paint job, which makes more sense?
A matte respray is one of the most expensive paint finishes you can buy, and it is hard and costly to repair if it gets marked. This wrap gives you the same flat Ceramic look for a lot less, it goes on far faster, and it peels off later with your factory paint untouched. A respray is permanent. The wrap is not.
How do I wash and care for a matte wrap?
Matte care is different from gloss, and this is the one rule to remember. Never wax, polish or machine-buff Ceramic matte. Any of those will rub shiny spots into the flat finish and you cannot undo it. Hand wash with a matte-safe soap, skip the automatic brush washes, and spot clean fuel splashes or bird droppings quickly before they sit.
Can I install Ceramic matte myself?
Yes, many DIY installers do. The Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive is air-release, so the tiny channels in the glue let trapped air push out as you squeegee instead of leaving bubbles. You can run it dry or wet. Take your time on curves and bumpers, use steady heat, and work one panel at a time.
Does the wrap come off cleanly when I want it gone?
Yes. When you are ready for a change, warm the film and peel it back slowly at a low angle. On healthy factory paint it lifts away clean. Any light adhesive left behind wipes off with a proper adhesive remover, leaving your original paint as it was.
Will the finish stay flat or start looking shiny over time?
It stays flat as long as you care for it the matte way. The finish only turns shiny where it gets waxed, polished, buffed or scrubbed with harsh pads. Avoid those, hand wash gently, and the Ceramic matte surface keeps its even non-reflective look across the whole car.
How much film do I need for my car?
The rolls are 1.52m (5ft) wide and come in 6m, 18m and 23m lengths. A 6m roll suits small jobs like a roof, hood or set of accents. A full small car usually needs around 18m, and most sedans and larger vehicles land near 23m. When in doubt size up, since extra length helps on mirrors, handles and any redo.
