Green Blue Diamond Car Wrap | Matte Vinyl
🎉 Free Shipping! Ready to ship
The Green Blue Diamond wrap pulls off something custom paint rarely achieves: a matte surface that still moves. Embedded diamond micro-flakes shift the color from a deep forest green to a cool oceanic blue depending on the angle and the light hitting the panel. The effect is subtle at a distance and dramatic up close, like the car is lit from underneath.
The film bonds directly over your factory paint, protecting it from stone chips, door dings, UV fade, and everyday road grime. When you are ready to change the look, it peels away cleanly and leaves the original finish untouched. Getting that same gradient color-shift from a custom paint shop would run thousands of dollars and lock you in forever. This does it for a fraction of the cost and keeps your options open.

Frequently asked questions
What does the diamond effect actually look like on the car?
The surface reads as a flat matte green when you are standing directly in front of the panel. As you move to the side, or as the sun shifts, the micro-flakes inside the film catch the light and flip the tone toward a cool, deep blue. The transition is not a single line — it rolls across the body panels as the angle changes, so the car looks different at every pass. Under artificial lighting like a garage or showroom, the blue tends to dominate. In full sun the green comes forward.
Will this protect my paint?
Yes, in the way a vinyl wrap is designed to. The film sits over your factory finish and shields it from UV rays, light abrasion, bird droppings, road grime, and minor scuffs from daily driving. It is not a heavy-duty protective film and it does not self-heal. Think of it as a durable cosmetic layer that keeps the paint underneath in showroom condition while giving you the color-shift look on top.
How does this compare to getting a custom diamond or pearl paint job?
A custom multi-tone diamond or pearl paint effect from a reputable shop is genuinely beautiful, but it costs several times what this wrap costs and it is permanent. If you chip it, the repair requires a skilled painter and color matching that is nearly impossible to get perfect. This wrap gives you the same color-shifting micro-flake look, wraps in days instead of weeks, protects the factory paint underneath, and comes off cleanly if you ever want to go back to stock or switch colors.
How do I wash a matte vinyl wrap?
Hand washing is the only safe method for matte finishes. Use a soft wash mitt and a gentle car shampoo, rinse with low pressure, and let it air dry or blot with a clean microfiber. Never apply wax, polish, or sealant to a matte surface — they fill in the micro-texture and create permanent shiny spots that are very hard to reverse. Machine buffing and automatic car washes with rotating brushes will do the same damage. Kept clean this way, the green-blue diamond effect stays vivid for years.
Can I install this myself?
Yes. The air-release adhesive channels let you work the film into position and squeegee out bubbles without trapping air. The film is compatible with both dry and wet install methods, so you can choose the technique you are most comfortable with. Flat panels and hoods are straightforward for a first-time installer. Bumpers, mirrors, and deep curves take more patience and usually a heat gun to get the material to conform cleanly. If this is your first wrap, watching a few install tutorials for similar curves before you start is worth the time.
Will it remove cleanly when I am done?
On factory paint in sound condition the film peels away without leaving adhesive residue. Heat from a heat gun or warm water softens the adhesive and makes removal easier, especially on any sections you stretched during install. Paint that has been resprayed, touched up, or has existing chips or peel may be more vulnerable, so inspect those areas before you start and take extra care during removal there.
How much film do I need for a full car wrap?
A full wrap on a standard sedan or coupe typically requires around 50 to 60 linear feet at standard roll width. Larger vehicles like trucks, SUVs, and vans need more. If you are only wrapping the hood, roof, and trunk as a partial, 15 to 20 feet is usually enough. When in doubt, order a little extra — the lot-to-lot color can vary slightly and having material from the same roll for any touch-ups or re-dos on tricky sections is worth it.
Does the color-shift look different on curved panels versus flat ones?
It does, and that is part of what makes the diamond gradient interesting. On a flat hood or roof the shift is even and gradual. On curved fenders and doors the angle to the light changes continuously across the surface, so different parts of the same panel show different points in the green-to-blue transition at the same moment. The result is a rolling, three-dimensional depth that flat paint simply cannot replicate.
