Black Green Diamond Car Wrap | Matte Vinyl
💪 Hurry up! Only 9 left
The Black Green Diamond wrap lives in the space between two worlds. Park it in shade and the surface reads as a deep, flat black. Step into sunlight and a forest green rises through it, lit by thousands of tiny diamond micro-flakes that scatter light in every direction. The color does not stay still, and that is exactly the point.
Underneath that effect is a matte polymeric vinyl that bonds to your car's factory paint and shields it from daily scratches, scuffs, and UV fade. When you are ready for a new look, it peels off cleanly and leaves the original paint untouched. Getting a custom two-tone diamond paint effect from a body shop costs thousands and cannot be reversed. This wrap delivers the same head-turning result for a fraction of the price.

Frequently asked questions
What does the diamond effect actually look like on the car?
Diamond micro-flakes are suspended throughout the film. In low or diffused light the wrap reads as a flat, matte black. As the sun or a direct light source hits it from different angles, those flakes catch and scatter the light so a deep forest green emerges across the surface. The transition is gradual and moves with you as you walk around the car. It is not a glitter or a metallic shine — the matte topcoat keeps everything flat and moody, which makes the color-shift feel more mysterious than flashy.
Will this wrap protect my paint?
It is a cosmetic color-change wrap, not a protective vinyl film. It sits over your factory paint and shields it from light scratches, scuffs, UV fading, and everyday road grime. When you remove it later, your paint comes off just as it went on, in the same condition it was in underneath.
How does this compare to getting a custom two-tone diamond paint effect?
A custom black-to-green diamond pearl paint job at a reputable body shop can run several thousand dollars, takes weeks, and is permanent. If you change your mind or go to sell the car, you are stuck with it. This wrap delivers the same two-tone diamond color-shift for a fraction of that cost, installs in a day, and peels off cleanly when you are done. The factory paint stays protected the whole time, which actually preserves resale value rather than hurting it.
How do I wash and care for the matte finish?
Matte vinyl needs gentle handling. Hand wash only using a soft wash mitt and a pH-neutral or matte-specific car shampoo. Rinse with low pressure and pat dry with a clean microfibre towel. Never apply wax, sealant, or glaze to a matte wrap — those products fill the microscopic texture that gives matte its flat look and leave permanent shiny patches. Machine polishers and automated car washes with brushes will do the same. Treat it gently and the finish stays consistent for years.
Can I install this myself?
Yes. The air-release adhesive channels push air out as you press the film down, which removes the biggest frustration in DIY installs. The film is forgiving enough to reposition before you commit to a final press. Flat panels like hoods and doors are very manageable for a first-time installer. Deep bumper curves and tight door handles are trickier and benefit from a heat gun and some practice. If it is your first full wrap, consider starting with a single panel to get a feel for the film before tackling the whole car.
Will it remove cleanly when I am done?
Yes, as long as the paint underneath is sound and properly cured. Warm the film gently with a heat gun or in direct sun, then peel slowly at a low angle. The adhesive is designed to release without leaving residue on factory or well-applied respray paint. Avoid removing it in very cold weather — low temperatures make vinyl brittle and can cause it to tear rather than peel in one clean piece.
How much film do I need for a full car wrap?
A standard full car wrap typically needs enough film to cover all exterior body panels with overlap for trimming. The exact amount depends on your vehicle size. Compact cars generally need less than a mid-size sedan or SUV. It is always worth ordering slightly more than the minimum estimate so you have material for mistakes and re-do sections. If you are only wrapping a hood, roof, or trunk lid as an accent, you will need significantly less. When in doubt, use a vehicle wrap calculator or ask the Wrapteck team before ordering.
