Heavy Copper Metallic Matte Car Wrap | Polymeric Vinyl
🎉 Free Shipping! Ready to ship
Heavy Copper Metallic gives your car a deep, warm copper tone with fine metallic flake worked into a flat, non-reflective surface. In daylight you catch the shimmer in the grain. Out of direct light it settles into a rich matte bronze that reads custom from every angle. No mirror shine, no plastic gloss, just a moody metallic copper that looks like it came off a high-end build.
This is a color and cosmetic wrap, not a clear film. It lays over your factory paint and takes the daily hits the paint would otherwise eat: light scuffs, road grime, car wash swirl and sun. When you want a fresh look or your original color back, the wrap comes off and the paint underneath is still there.

Key features
- Flat matte finish: a non-reflective topcoat gives the factory-flat, no-shine look that paint cannot match without a costly custom job.
- Hides minor flaws: the matte surface softens light, so it disguises small swirls and imperfections instead of spotlighting them like gloss does.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
- UV and weather resistant: the topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.

Frequently asked questions
How long will a Heavy Copper Metallic wrap last?
With good care it holds its deep matte copper look for years. Heat, harsh sun and automatic brush washes are what age any wrap fastest, so a car that lives in a garage will keep that flat metallic finish noticeably longer than one parked outside all day. Hand washing and quick cleanup of dirt go a long way.
Will this wrap damage my factory paint?
No. Heavy Copper Metallic sits on top of your original paint and actually shields it from sun, light scratches and road grime. As long as your factory paint is healthy and fully cured when it goes on, the wrap protects what is underneath rather than harming it.
Matte wrap or a matte respray, which should I get?
A matte respray is expensive, permanent and very hard to touch up, since matte paint cannot just be polished out when it gets a mark. This Heavy Copper Metallic wrap costs less, goes on faster, keeps your factory paint safe under it and peels off when you want a change. For a custom matte metallic look without the cost and risk of paint, the wrap wins.
How do I wash and care for a matte wrap?
This is the big one for matte. Never wax, polish or machine buff Heavy Copper Metallic, because any of those leave shiny patches that ruin the flat finish. Hand wash with a matte-safe soap, skip automatic brush car washes, and rinse off bird mess and fuel splashes quickly before they sit. Treated this way the surface stays evenly matte across the whole car.
Can I install this myself?
Yes, plenty of DIY installers do. The film uses a Henkel solvent-based acrylic air-release adhesive, so trapped air pushes out through channels in the glue and you get fewer bubbles while you work. You can install dry or wet. Flat panels are very doable at home. Deep curves and recesses take patience and heat, so take your time or split the harder panels with an installer.
Does Heavy Copper Metallic come off cleanly later?
When you are ready for a change, the wrap is made to peel away. Warming the film with a heat gun helps it lift in larger pieces and leaves little to no adhesive behind. Your factory paint stays put, which is the whole point of wrapping instead of repainting.
Will it stay flat or turn shiny over time?
It stays flat as long as you care for it the matte way. Shiny spots almost always come from wax, polish, buffing or scrubbing hard at one area, not from the film itself. Wash it gently by hand, keep abrasives and wax off it, and Heavy Copper Metallic holds its even non-reflective copper finish.
How much film do I need for my car?
The rolls are 1.52m (5ft) wide and come in 6m, 18m and 23m lengths. As a rough guide, small jobs like a roof, hood or mirrors fit the 6m roll, a full small or mid car usually needs around the 18m, and a larger vehicle or anyone wanting extra for mistakes and curves should go with the 23m. When in doubt, size up so color and flake match across every panel.
