Lightning Green Matte Car Wrap | Polymeric Vinyl
$190.00 USD
1.52*6m(5*20ft) / Matte Lightning Green

Lightning Green is a bold, electric green with a completely flat finish. No gloss, no shine, just a deep matte surface that soaks up the light instead of bouncing it back. The color reads punchy in daylight and goes moody and stealthy under cloud cover, so your car never looks the same twice. It is loud and low-key at the same time.

This is a color wrap, not a clear film. It lays a fresh matte skin over your existing paint and shields that paint from sun, light scuffs, and the grime of daily driving. Want your factory finish back later? Peel the wrap and it is still there, untouched.

Key features

  • Flat matte finish: a non-reflective topcoat gives the factory-flat, no-shine look that paint cannot match without a costly custom job.
  • Hides minor flaws: the matte surface softens light, so it disguises small swirls and imperfections instead of spotlighting them like gloss does.
  • Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
  • Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
  • Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
  • Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
  • UV and weather resistant: the topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.

Frequently asked questions

How long will a Lightning Green matte wrap last?

With good care it holds its flat green look for years. Keeping the car garaged out of constant sun and weather stretches that even further. The biggest factor is washing. A wrap that is hand washed and kept clean ages far better than one left to bake and collect grime.

Will the wrap damage my paint, or actually protect it?

It protects it. The Lightning Green film sits on top of your factory paint and takes the sun, light scuffs, and road grime instead of the paint doing it. On healthy, undamaged paint it removes cleanly later and leaves the original finish underneath ready to go.

How is this different from a matte green respray?

A matte respray is expensive, permanent, and painful to repair if it gets scratched or uneven. This wrap costs far less, goes on faster, and peels off when you want a change or your factory paint back. You get the same flat Lightning Green look without committing your paint to it forever.

How do I wash and care for a matte wrap?

This is the one thing to get right. Never wax, polish, or machine-buff a matte wrap, because any of those create shiny patches that wreck the flat Lightning Green finish. Hand wash only with a matte-safe soap, skip the automatic brush washes, and rinse fuel splashes or bird mess off quickly before they sit.

Can I install it myself?

Yes, plenty of people do. The Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive is air-release, so the channels let trapped air escape and help you slide out bubbles as you work. You can install dry or wet. Flat panels are very DIY friendly. Deep curves and bumper recesses take more patience and heat, so start on the easy panels first.

Does the wrap come off cleanly when I want to remove it?

On sound factory paint, yes. Warm the Lightning Green film with gentle heat and peel it back slowly at a low angle. The matte finish lifts away and any light adhesive trace wipes off with a proper adhesive remover, leaving your paint as it was.

Will it stay matte or eventually go shiny?

It stays flat as long as you treat it like a matte surface. Going shiny in spots almost always comes from wax, polish, buffing, or rubbing hard at one area. Avoid those, hand wash gently, and the Lightning Green keeps its even non-reflective look across the whole car.

How much film do I need for my car?

Rolls are 1.52m (5ft) wide and come in 6m, 18m, and 23m lengths. A small panel or accent piece is fine on 6m. A bumper, roof, or hood usually wants 18m. A full vehicle wrap typically needs the 23m roll, and larger SUVs or trucks may need extra. Measure your panels and add a little margin for trimming and mistakes.
