Red Holographic Chrome Car Wrap | Vinyl
$340.00 USD
1.42*18m(4.7*59ft) / Red

Red Holographic Chrome reads as a deep mirror red one second, then breaks into rainbow laser flake the next. Move past it, change the light, or watch it under a streetlamp and the surface scatters pink, gold, green and violet sparks across that red chrome base. It never sits still. Park it in the sun and the whole panel comes alive.

This is a color-changing vinyl wrap, so the flip lives on the film, not in your factory paint. The wrap lays over your real paint and takes the daily hits instead, shielding it from sun, light scuffs and road grime while it does the work. When you want a different look, it comes back off. Your original finish is still under there, clean and untouched.

Frequently asked questions

How does the Red Holographic Chrome color-shift effect work?

The film has a mirror red chrome surface packed with a fine rainbow laser flake. As the angle between your eye, the car and the light changes, that flake catches and splits the light into shifting pink, gold, green and violet sparks over the red base. Nothing electronic triggers it. It is pure light, angle and movement, so the car looks different as you walk around it or as the sun moves.

What colors does this wrap actually show?

The base is a deep red chrome that holds its red identity from across a parking lot. Up close and in motion the laser flake throws a full rainbow over it, mostly pink, gold, green and violet sparkle depending on the light. In flat shade it stays a rich mirror red. In direct sun it lights up and the holographic flake takes over.

Will this wrap damage my paint or protect it?

It protects it. The vinyl sits on top of your factory paint and takes the daily wear so your real finish does not. It shields against sun, light scuffs and grime that would otherwise land on the paint itself. When it is removed properly the paint underneath stays sealed and clean, which is one of the main reasons people wrap instead of repaint.

How is this different from a custom red chrome paint job?

A real holographic red chrome paint job is one of the hardest and most expensive finishes to spray, and if you scratch it the repair is a nightmare. This wrap gives you that same shifting red chrome look for far less, it goes on in a fraction of the time, it protects the paint instead of replacing it, and you can take it off when you want a change. A repaint is permanent. This is not.

Can I install this myself?

Yes, with patience. The film is self-adhesive with air-egress channels built into the glue, so trapped bubbles push out to the edges as you squeegee and the vinyl releases and repositions while you work. First-timers should start with a flat panel like a roof or hood, take their time on curves, and use gentle heat to shape it around contours. A holographic chrome finish shows mistakes, so go slow and work clean.

Does it come off cleanly later?

When you are ready for a change it removes cleanly from sound factory paint, leaving your original finish underneath. Removing it slowly and with a little warmth helps the adhesive let go without leaving residue. That reversibility is the whole point. You get the dramatic red chrome look now and your stock paint back whenever you want it.

How long will the Red Holographic Chrome wrap last?

This is a polyester-based holographic chrome film built to hold up indoors and outdoors, so it lasts for years with good care. A garage-kept car will keep that mirror red and crisp rainbow flake looking sharper for longer than one parked in full sun every day. Regular gentle washing and keeping it out of harsh weather when you can will stretch its life.

How much film do I need for my car?

It depends on the size and shape of the vehicle and whether you are doing a full wrap or just accent panels like the roof, hood or mirrors. As a rough guide a small car full wrap needs less film than a large SUV or truck. Measure the panels you plan to cover, add extra for curves and mistakes, and round up. It is always better to have a little spare than to run short mid-panel.
