Midnight Blue Metallic Satin Car Wrap | Polymeric Vinyl

Midnight Blue Metallic gives your car a deep blue that reads as near black until the light moves across it. The finish is flat and non-reflective, so instead of a wet shine you get a soft, stealth look with a fine metallic flake buried in the matte. In daylight it shows as a dark blue with quiet sparkle. At dusk it pulls toward black. It is the kind of color that looks expensive without trying to shout.
Under that matte surface is a polymeric PVC film that hugs the body and takes the daily hits your paint would otherwise wear. Stone dust, light scuffs, sun, car park rubs, and weather land on the wrap, not on your factory finish. When you want a change later, the film comes off and the original paint is still there.

Key features
- Flat matte finish: a non-reflective topcoat gives the factory-flat, no-shine look that paint cannot match without a costly custom job.
- Hides minor flaws: the matte surface softens light, so it disguises small swirls and imperfections instead of spotlighting them like gloss does.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
- UV and weather resistant: the topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.

Frequently asked questions
How long will a Midnight Blue Metallic matte wrap last?
With good care it holds its deep flat blue for years. A car that lives in a garage out of constant sun and rain will keep that stealth look longer than one parked outside every day. The biggest thing that ages any matte wrap is harsh washing, so a gentle routine does more for the life of the wrap than anything else.
Will the wrap damage my paint, or actually protect it?
It protects it. The film sits on top of your factory paint and takes the daily wear instead, so stone dust, light scuffs, sun, and car park rubs hit the wrap and not the Midnight Blue Metallic finish underneath. Applied to sound factory paint and removed with care, it comes off clean and leaves the original surface as it was.
Why pick a matte wrap over a matte respray?
A matte paint job is one of the most expensive and least forgiving finishes to spray, and any future repair means blending matte paint, which is hard and costly. This wrap gives you the same deep flat Midnight Blue look for far less, it goes on faster, it keeps your factory paint safe underneath, and you can take it off later. A respray is permanent. A wrap is not.
How do I wash and care for a matte wrap?
This is the one rule that matters most. Never wax, polish, or machine-buff a matte wrap, because any of those will rub shiny spots into the flat finish and ruin the Midnight Blue Metallic look. Hand wash only with a matte-safe soap, skip the automatic brush washes, and rinse off bird mess or spilled fuel quickly before it sits. Treat the matte surface gently and it stays even and flat.
Can I install this myself?
Yes, many DIY installers do. The film uses a Henkel solvent-based acrylic air-release adhesive, so trapped bubbles can push out to the edge instead of leaving lumps, which buys you time to line up the panel before it locks down. You can run a dry or wet install. Flat and gently curved panels are very doable at home. Deep curves, mirrors, and bumpers take more patience, so go slow and use heat.
Does the wrap come off cleanly later?
On sound factory paint, yes. Warm the film with a heat source and peel it back at a low angle and it lifts away. Any light adhesive left behind wipes off with a proper adhesive remover. Because the Midnight Blue Metallic film is removable, this is a reversible change, not a permanent one like paint.
Will it stay flat or go shiny over time?
It stays flat as long as you care for it the matte way. Matte finishes go shiny when they get waxed, polished, buffed, or scrubbed with harsh pads, which press the texture down into a gloss. Avoid all of that, hand wash gently, and the Midnight Blue Metallic surface keeps its even non-reflective look.
How much film do I need for my car?
The rolls are 1.52m (5ft) wide and come in 6m, 18m, and 23m lengths. As a rough guide, partial jobs like a roof, hood, or mirrors fit inside the 6m roll. A small or mid size car full wrap usually lands around the 18m roll, and a larger car, SUV, or anyone wanting extra for complex panels and mistakes should choose the 23m. When in doubt size up, since trimming spare film is easier than running short mid panel.
