Metallic Green Satin Car Wrap | Polymeric Vinyl
🎉 Free Shipping! Ready to ship
Metallic Green lands somewhere between deep forest and gunmetal, with a fine flake that catches the light and then goes quiet. There is no gloss here. The finish is flat and non-reflective, so the color reads rich and moody in the shade and only wakes up when the sun hits the metallic. It is the kind of green that looks expensive without trying.
This is a color wrap, not a coat of paint. The vinyl lays over your factory panels and changes the whole look of the car while it sits between your paint and the road. Stone dust, light scuffs, sun, and washing all hit the film instead of the paint underneath. When you want a change, it comes off and your original finish is still there.

Key features
- Flat matte finish: a non-reflective topcoat gives the factory-flat, no-shine look that paint cannot match without a costly custom job.
- Hides minor flaws: the matte surface softens light, so it disguises small swirls and imperfections instead of spotlighting them like gloss does.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
- UV and weather resistant: the topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a Metallic Green matte wrap last?
With good care it holds its flat finish and color for years. The biggest factor is where the car lives. A Metallic Green wrap that sits in a garage and gets hand washed will outlast one that bakes in the sun and snow every day. Heavy sun and harsh weather are what age any wrap fastest, so keep it covered when you can.
Will this wrap damage my paint or actually protect it?
It protects it. The vinyl sits on top of your factory paint and takes the daily wear instead. Sun, dust, light scratches, and washing hit the film, not the metal. As long as your paint is healthy and well stuck down when you wrap it, the Metallic Green film comes off later and leaves the original factory paint underneath untouched.
How is a matte wrap different from a matte respray?
A matte respray is expensive, permanent, and notoriously hard to repair, because matte clear coat cannot be polished or spot fixed the way gloss can. A Metallic Green wrap costs far less, goes on faster, and peels off when you want a change. You also keep your factory paint intact, which matters at resale. For a flat metallic look, wrapping is the lower risk way to get there.
How do I wash and care for a matte wrap?
This is the part matte owners must get right. Never wax, polish, or machine buff a matte wrap, because any of those will leave shiny spots that ruin the flat Metallic Green look. Hand wash with a matte safe soap, use clean microfiber, and skip the automatic brush washes at the gas station. If you get fuel splash, bird mess, or bug splatter, wipe it off quickly so it does not stain the film.
Can I install this myself?
Yes, plenty of DIY installers do. The film uses a Henkel solvent based acrylic air release adhesive, so trapped air pushes out to the edges through tiny channels instead of leaving bubbles. That makes it far more forgiving than basic vinyl. You can run a dry or wet install. Flat panels are easy. Bumpers and deep curves take patience and heat, so go slow and warm the film to shape it.
Does the wrap come off cleanly later?
It does. When you are ready for a change, warm the Metallic Green film with a heat gun and peel it back at a low angle. The acrylic adhesive is made to release with heat, so on healthy factory paint it lifts off without taking your finish with it. Any light adhesive left behind wipes away with a proper adhesive remover.
Will it stay flat or eventually go shiny?
It stays flat as long as you care for it the matte way. The finish only goes shiny in spots where it has been waxed, polished, buffed, or rubbed hard with the wrong product. Treat the Metallic Green film gently, keep to hand washing with matte safe soap, and the flat non-reflective look holds. The metallic flake shows through without adding any gloss.
How much film do I need for my car?
The rolls are 1.52m wide, which is 5 feet, and come in 6m, 18m, and 23m lengths. A small car or a partial job like a roof, hood, or mirrors usually works from the 6m roll. A full sedan typically needs the 18m. Large SUVs, trucks, or a full wrap with extra for mistakes are safer with the 23m. When in doubt, size up so you have margin for curves and re-pulls.
