Black Super Gloss Car Wrap | Polymeric Vinyl
🎉 Free Shipping! Ready to ship
Gloss Black is the look almost everyone pictures when they think of a clean, blacked-out car. Wet, deep, and mirror-bright, it reads like a fresh coat of paint without the cost or the commitment. Park it in the sun and the reflections stretch right across the panel. Run your hand over it and it feels factory-smooth.
This is a color-change vinyl, not a clear film, so it changes how your car looks while it guards the paint underneath from sun, light scratches, and the grime of daily driving. When you are ready for something new, it comes back off and leaves your original finish where it started.

Key features
- Painted-on gloss finish: a mirror-gloss topcoat gives the deep wet-paint shine without the cost of a respray.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
- UV and weather resistant: the gloss topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.
- Easy to keep clean: wipes down and washes like paint, with no special care needed.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a gloss Black wrap last?
With regular washing and a little care, gloss Black holds its shine for years. Black shows water spots and dust faster than most colors, so a quick rinse after dusty drives keeps it looking sharp. A car kept in a garage and out of constant sun will always last longer than one parked outside every day.
Will this wrap damage my paint or actually protect it?
It protects it. The vinyl sits over your factory paint and takes the hits from sun, road grime, and light surface scratches instead of the paint itself. As long as your original paint is sound and in good shape before the wrap goes on, the film shields it and lifts off clean later.
Gloss Black wrap or a respray, which makes more sense?
A gloss Black wrap costs far less than a quality black paint job, goes on much faster, and you can reverse it. A respray is permanent and can hurt resale value if a buyer wants the original color. The wrap gives you that deep painted-on black look while keeping your factory paint safe underneath.
How much film do I need for my car?
The rolls are 1.52m (5ft) wide and come in 6m, 18m, and 23m lengths. A small panel like a roof or hood often fits inside 6m. A full compact car usually lands around 18m, and a larger car, SUV, or anyone wanting extra for mistakes should go with 23m. Measure your panels and add a little margin for wrapping edges.
Can I install gloss Black myself?
Yes. The Henkel solvent-based acrylic air-release adhesive lets the film slide into place and pushes bubbles out as you squeegee, so you are not fighting trapped air. You can install dry or wet. Take your time on curves and edges, use heat to set it, and watch the how-to link on this page before you start.
Does the wrap come off cleanly later?
It does. When you want a change, warm the film with a heat gun and peel it back slowly at a low angle. On sound factory paint it lifts away without tearing your finish. Any light adhesive left behind wipes off with a proper adhesive remover.
How do I wash and care for gloss Black?
Hand washing with a soft mitt and pH-neutral car soap keeps the gloss deepest, and black rewards the extra effort. Skip harsh brushes and abrasive polishes. Dry with a clean microfiber to stop water spots, which show up more on black than any other shade. Avoid parking under sap or bird droppings for long stretches.
Will the gloss fade over time?
The film is built to hold its shine and handles heat from -30 to +140 C. Sun and weather are the main enemies of any finish, so a garage-kept car keeps that wet black gloss far longer than one baking outside all day. Regular washing and the odd vinyl-safe sealant help it stay deep and reflective.
