Blue gloss has a wet, painted-on shine that reads bold in sun and deep in shade. It is a true confident blue that pops against chrome and black trim, the kind of color that makes a daily driver look like it just left a custom shop. The high-gloss surface throws back light in a clean mirror line down the body, so every curve and crease shows up the way the designer drew it.
This is a color wrap, not just a finish. The vinyl lays a fresh layer of blue over your existing panels and shields the factory paint underneath from sun, road grime, and the small scuffs of daily driving. When you want a different look later, it comes back off and your original paint is still there.

Key features
- Painted-on gloss finish: a mirror-gloss topcoat gives the deep wet-paint shine without the cost of a respray.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
- UV and weather resistant: the gloss topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.
- Easy to keep clean: wipes down and washes like paint, with no special care needed.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a Blue gloss wrap last?
With normal care a Blue gloss wrap holds its shine for years. The film handles real weather, rated from -30 to +140 C, so heat and cold are not a problem. A car kept in a garage stays glossy longer than one parked in full sun every day. Wash it gently and keep it out of harsh chemicals and the blue stays deep.
Will the wrap damage my paint, or does it protect it?
It protects it. The Blue vinyl sits on top of your factory paint and takes the sun, dust, and light scuffs instead of the paint. As long as your original paint is healthy and well stuck down when you wrap, the film shields it and keeps it fresh underneath.
Should I get a Blue wrap or a blue respray?
A wrap is the easier call for most people. It costs less than a quality paint job, goes on faster, and it is reversible, so you can return to your original color later. A respray is permanent and can lower resale if a buyer wanted the factory color. The Blue gloss wrap gives you that painted look while keeping the paint underneath safe.
How much film do I need for my car?
The rolls are 1.52m wide, which is 5 feet, and come in 6m, 18m, and 23m lengths. A small spot like a roof or hood is fine with the 6m roll. A full sedan or smaller SUV usually needs the 18m roll, and a larger vehicle or a first timer who wants extra for mistakes should go with 23m. When in doubt, size up so you have working margin.
Can I install the Blue wrap myself?
Yes. The Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive is air-release, so it lets trapped air escape through tiny channels as you squeegee, which keeps bubbles down and lets you reposition while you work. You can install dry or wet. Flat panels are beginner friendly. Deep curves and bumpers take more heat and patience, so practice on a smaller panel first.
Does the Blue wrap come off cleanly?
It does when you are ready. Warm the film with a heat gun and pull it back slow at a low angle and it lifts off in sections. Any light adhesive left behind comes away with adhesive remover. On healthy factory paint you are left with your original color, no blue residue.
How do I wash and care for a Blue gloss wrap?
Hand wash with a soft mitt and a pH neutral car soap, then rinse and dry with a clean microfiber. Skip automatic brush washes and strong solvents. Wipe off fuel spills, bird droppings, and bug splatter quickly so they do not sit on the gloss. Easy care like this keeps the blue bright and the shine clean.
Will the Blue gloss fade over time?
The gloss is built to hold up to UV and daily driving without going dull fast. Like any colored surface, long stretches in direct sun will age it faster, and basic care slows that down. Wash it gently, park in shade or a garage when you can, and the Blue keeps its depth and mirror shine.
