Retro Green Super Gloss Car Wrap | Polymeric Vinyl
🎉 Free Shipping! Ready to ship
Retro Green has that mellow, throwback shade of green with a wet, glassy shine sitting on top. It is the kind of color that looks at home on a classic build or a modern car that wants to stand apart from the showroom palette. In daylight the gloss gives it depth, and at night it reads rich and clean under streetlights.
This is a color change wrap, not a coating you brush on. The film lays over your panels and gives you that painted-on finish while taking the daily surface wear the paint would otherwise eat. Sun, light grit, wash swirls, road film, all of that lands on the vinyl instead of your factory coat. When you want to switch it up later, it comes back off.

Key features
- Painted-on gloss finish: a mirror-gloss topcoat gives the deep wet-paint shine without the cost of a respray.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
- UV and weather resistant: the gloss topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.
- Easy to keep clean: wipes down and washes like paint, with no special care needed.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a Retro Green gloss wrap last?
With normal care this Retro Green film holds its gloss and color for years. Heat, sun and harsh chemical washes are what wear any wrap down over time, so a car that lives in a garage will keep that shine longer than one parked outside all day. Hand wash it, skip the abrasive brushes, and it stays looking fresh.
Will wrapping in Retro Green damage my paint?
No. The vinyl actually acts as a shield for the factory paint, taking the daily sun, light grit and wash wear instead of your clear coat. As long as your existing paint is healthy and well stuck to the body, the Retro Green film protects what is underneath rather than harming it.
Retro Green gloss wrap or a respray, which should I pick?
A respray in this kind of green is permanent, pricey and ties up your car for days. The Retro Green wrap costs less, goes on far faster, and you can peel it off later to go back to your original color or try something new. You also keep your factory paint protected the whole time it is wrapped.
How much Retro Green film do I need for my car?
The rolls are 1.52m wide (about 5ft) and come in 6m, 18m and 23m lengths. A small two-door usually lands near the 18m roll, while most sedans and larger vehicles do a full wrap with the 23m roll. The shorter 6m piece is great for a roof, hood, mirrors or accent panels in Retro Green. When in doubt, size up so you have room for mistakes and complex curves.
Can I install Retro Green myself?
Yes, plenty of DIY installers do. The film uses a Henkel solvent-based acrylic air-release adhesive, so the air channels let you lay it down and push bubbles out to the edge instead of trapping them. You can install dry or wet. Flat and gently curved panels are very doable at home. Bumpers and deep recesses take more heat and patience, so take your time.
Does Retro Green vinyl come off cleanly later?
It does. When you are ready for a change, warm the film with a heat source and pull it back slowly at a low angle. On healthy factory paint it lifts away clean, and any light adhesive left behind wipes off with a proper adhesive remover. That is the big advantage of this Retro Green wrap over paint.
How do I wash and care for a Retro Green wrap?
Treat it like good paint. Hand wash with a soft mitt and a pH-neutral soap, rinse well, and dry with a clean microfiber to avoid spotting. Stay away from automatic brush washes and harsh solvents. Get bug splatter, fuel and bird mess off quickly so they do not sit on the gloss surface of the Retro Green film.
Will the Retro Green gloss fade over time?
Like any color, strong sun is its enemy, but this film is built to hold its tone and shine through normal use. The thing that keeps Retro Green looking deep is simple care and shade when you can get it. Garage-kept cars keep that glossy, just-wrapped look noticeably longer than ones baking outside every day.
