Champagne Gold Metallic Car Wrap | Gloss Vinyl
$170.00 USD
1.52*6m(5*20ft) / Champaign Gold

Champagne Gold sits in that sweet spot between gold and soft bronze. In the shade it reads as a calm, warm champagne tone with a quiet shimmer. Roll into direct sun and the fine metal flake wakes up, throwing tiny points of light across every panel and giving the gold real depth. It is a glossy finish, so the color stays bright and mirror smooth instead of flat.

This is a color-change wrap, not a coat of paint. The vinyl lays over your factory finish and takes the daily hits of road grime, sun, and car wash brushes so the paint underneath stays sealed and clean. When you want a new look, it peels back off. You get the rich look of a gold metallic respray without touching the paint you already paid for.

Key features

  • Deep metallic sparkle: fine metal flake runs through the color layer, so the finish reads rich in the shade and glints with sparkle in direct sun.
  • Glossy depth: a clear topcoat over the flake gives a wet, glossy shine with real depth, the same look factory metallic paint gets from flake in the basecoat.
  • Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
  • Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
  • Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
  • Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.

Frequently asked questions

What does the metal flake do in Champagne Gold?

The flake is mixed into the color layer of the film. It catches light and scatters it, so the gold looks deeper and more alive than a plain solid color. In shade you get a soft warm champagne tone, and in sun the flake sparkles and the gold really lights up.

Does the surface feel rough or is it smooth?

It is smooth to the touch. The metal flake sits inside the film, not on top, so you see the sparkle but feel a flat glossy surface. Running your hand over it feels just like a glossy painted panel.

Will wrapping hurt my paint?

No. The film goes over your factory paint and actually guards it from sun, light scratches, and grime. The adhesive is made to come off cleanly later, so a careful install and removal leave the paint underneath as it was, often cleaner than the panels around it.

How is this different from a metallic gold respray?

A real metallic-flake respray is expensive, takes your car off the road for days, and is hard to color match if you ever need a repair. This Champagne Gold wrap costs far less, goes on faster, protects the paint you already have, and comes off when you want a change. A respray is permanent and the wrap is not.

How do I wash and care for a metallic wrap?

Hand wash with a soft mitt and a gentle car shampoo, then rinse and pat dry. Skip harsh solvents and aggressive brushes. Get bird droppings and bug splatter off quickly so they do not sit on the gloss. Like any wrap, a Champagne Gold finish kept in a garage out of constant sun will hold its shine for longer.

Can I install this myself?

Yes. The film uses a Henkel air-release adhesive, so air pushes out through tiny channels as you squeegee and you avoid trapped bubbles. It works dry or wet. Flat and gently curved panels are very DIY friendly. For deep curves and recesses, take your time with heat or hand it to an installer.

Does the wrap come off cleanly when I am done?

When removed with care, usually with a little heat, the film lifts away without tearing up the paint underneath. Older wraps or those baked in the sun can need more patience and warmth, which is one more reason to keep it out of constant heat when you can.

How much film do I need for my car?

It depends on the size of your vehicle and whether you are doing the whole car or just a few panels. A small hatchback needs far less than a large SUV or truck. We offer rolls in 30ft (9m) and 59ft (18m) lengths. Order a little extra so you have room for trimming and any panel you want to redo.
