Ultimate Flat Matte Car Film | Polymeric Vinyl

Ultimate Flat is the deepest, most stealth matte we make. It kills every bit of shine, so your car reads as one solid block of color with no highlights, no gloss, no reflection bouncing off the panels. In daylight it looks like a factory concept car. Under streetlights it just goes dark and quiet. This is the finish people stop and stare at because they cannot figure out what it is.
Underneath the look, it is a real protective skin. The vinyl wraps tight over your panels and takes the daily wear your paint would otherwise eat: light scuffs, road grime, sun, car park rash. Your factory paint stays sealed and untouched the whole time. When you want a change or it is time to sell, the film peels away and the original paint is still there.

Key features
- Flat matte finish: a non-reflective topcoat gives the factory-flat, no-shine look that paint cannot match without a costly custom job.
- Hides minor flaws: the matte surface softens light, so it disguises small swirls and imperfections instead of spotlighting them like gloss does.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
- UV and weather resistant: the topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.

Frequently asked questions
How long will an Ultimate Flat wrap last?
With normal care it holds its flat look for years. The thing that matters most is where you park. A car kept in a garage or under cover keeps its deep matte tone far longer than one that bakes in full sun and weather every day. Wash it by hand, keep grime off it, and Ultimate Flat stays looking the way it did on day one.
Will wrapping damage my factory paint?
No. Ultimate Flat protects the paint, it does not harm it. The film sits on top and takes the daily wear instead of your clear coat. As long as your paint is healthy and fully bonded when you wrap, the vinyl shields it and comes off clean later. Wrapping a car in good condition is one of the safest ways to keep the original paint perfect underneath.
How is this different from a matte respray?
A matte paint job is expensive, permanent, and a nightmare to repair, since any touch-up on flat paint almost never blends. Ultimate Flat gives you that same blacked-out matte look for a lot less, it is reversible, and it protects the real paint instead of replacing it. Scuff a panel and you re-wrap that one piece. Scuff matte paint and you are often repainting the whole side.
How do I wash and care for a matte wrap?
This is the one thing every matte owner has to get right. Never wax, polish, or machine-buff Ultimate Flat. Any of those will burn shiny patches into the flat finish and you cannot undo it. Hand wash only with a matte-safe soap, skip the automatic brush washes, and rinse well. If fuel splashes at the pump or a bird hits the panel, clean that spot quickly so it does not stain. Treat it gently and it stays dead flat.
Can I install it myself?
Yes, plenty of DIY installers do. Ultimate Flat uses a Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive with air-release channels, so the film lays down without trapped bubbles and you can lift and reposition it while you work. You can go dry or wet. Flat panels like a roof, hood, or doors are very doable at home. Save the tight curves and deep recesses for once you have the hang of it, or hand those to a shop.
Does it remove cleanly when I want it off?
Yes. When you are ready for a change, warm the film with heat and peel it back slowly at a low angle. On factory paint in good shape, Ultimate Flat lifts away and leaves your original color underneath ready to go. That clean reversibility is the whole point of wrapping instead of painting.
Will it stay flat or eventually go shiny?
It stays flat as long as you care for it correctly. Ultimate Flat does not turn glossy on its own. Shiny spots come from one thing: wax, polish, or buffing, plus harsh automatic brush washes rubbing the same areas. Avoid all of that and hand wash gently, and the finish stays uniform and matte across every panel.
How much film do I need for my car?
Our rolls are 1.52m (5ft) wide and come in 6m, 18m, and 23m lengths. A few panels like a roof and hood usually fit inside a 6m roll. A full small car or sedan typically needs the 18m. Larger vehicles, SUVs, or a first wrap where you want extra to practice on are better with the 23m. When in doubt size up, since a tricky panel can eat more film than you expect.
