Super Matte Ultimate Flat Vinyl - wrapteck
$160.00 USD
1.52*6m(5*20ft) / Magic Purple

Magic Purple is a deep, moody purple with a dead flat finish. There is no gloss and no metallic sparkle here, just a rich non-reflective color that shifts from violet to near black as the light moves across the body. It reads custom and expensive without screaming for attention, the kind of stealth look you usually only see on a high-end build.

This is a color and cosmetic wrap. The polymeric PVC vinyl lays a fresh flat purple over your existing panels while covering the factory paint underneath, taking the daily hits from sun, grime, and light scuffs so the original surface stays protected. When you want to change it later, the film comes off and your paint is still there.

Key features

  • Flat matte finish: a non-reflective topcoat gives the factory-flat, no-shine look that paint cannot match without a costly custom job.
  • Hides minor flaws: the matte surface softens light, so it disguises small swirls and imperfections instead of spotlighting them like gloss does.
  • Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
  • Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
  • Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
  • Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
  • UV and weather resistant: the topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.

Frequently asked questions

How long will a Magic Purple matte wrap last?

With good care a Magic Purple wrap holds its deep flat color for years. The biggest factor is where you park. A garage-kept car stays out of constant sun and weather, so the matte finish lasts noticeably longer than one left outside around the clock. Regular gentle washing also keeps the purple looking fresh.

Will the wrap damage or protect my factory paint?

It protects it. The Magic Purple film sits on top of your paint and takes the daily wear from sun, dust, and light scuffs instead of the factory surface. As long as your original paint is healthy and clean when it goes on, the wrap shields it and comes off cleanly down the road.

How is this different from a matte purple respray?

A matte respray in a color like this is expensive, permanent, and very hard to touch up if a panel gets scratched, since matte paint cannot be polished out. The Magic Purple wrap costs far less, goes on faster, protects the paint you already have, and peels off when you want a change. You get the flat custom look without committing your paint to it.

How do I wash and care for a matte wrap?

This is the most important part. Never wax, polish, or machine-buff a matte wrap, because any of those will create shiny spots and ruin the even flat finish of the Magic Purple. Hand wash only with a soap made for matte surfaces, skip automatic brush car washes, and wipe off fuel spills, bird mess, or bug splatter quickly before they sit and stain.

Can I install it myself?

Yes, many people do. The Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive is air-release, so the channels let trapped air escape and help you avoid bubbles as you work. You can install dry or wet. Take your time on curves and recesses with a heat source and the deep flat Magic Purple lays down clean. Complex panels are easier with a second set of hands or a pro installer.

Does it remove cleanly later?

Yes. When you are ready for a new color, the Magic Purple film peels away and lifts the adhesive with it, leaving your factory paint behind. Warming the vinyl with gentle heat as you pull makes removal easier and cleaner.

Will it stay flat or eventually go shiny?

It stays matte as long as you care for it correctly. The flat look only turns shiny if the surface gets waxed, polished, buffed, or rubbed hard in one spot. Stick to hand washing with matte-safe soap and the Magic Purple keeps its even non-reflective finish.

How much film do I need for my car?

The wrap comes on rolls 1.52m (5ft) wide in 6m, 18m, and 23m lengths. A bike, small panel, or accent job suits the 6m roll, a full small or mid-size car usually needs the 18m, and a large car, SUV, or truck is safest with the 23m. Buying one continuous length keeps the Magic Purple matched across every panel.
